or Mike Bibby ?
Sam is on his way out after this year
Livingston is still a question mark
Mobley is an aging veteran
Dickau & Knight are not even close to helping us out...........
We need help with the perimeter shooting and lack scoring from the outside. Any chance we can obtain these players through a trade involving Maggette, 1st round pick, and/or other package players?
Or the should the Clips just start saving ALL their money to do what they can to entice Lebron on coming to play on of the worlds biggest stages that is LA? |

I'd really hate to give up Maggette, although he can be selfish and a limited defender, his solid performances and ability to get to the free throw line really helps the Clippers win the ball games. And LeBron coming to LA? I don't think so, didn't he just sign an extension? Gilbert? |

| Gilbert is too expensive for what he's worth. He looks great scoring, but I dont think he brings much else to the table. I'd rather have a PG who will be a floor leader first but make the necessary shots. That's what Steve Nash and Tony Parker are and thats a very big reason their teams have been so great. |

Arenas would be interesting. I wouldn't trade for him, but he can opt out this summer. LAC could afford him this summer if Corey opts out and Sam and Aaron don't re-sign ($16 million frees up).
But I would not put him at PG ... rather at SG. My grandmother could get 15 assists a game with Kaman, Brand, Thornton and Arenas as the other 4 starters. Put Shaun in there - difficult team to defend. Bench would have Cat, TThomas, Brevin and a high draft pick. I like it! Enough youth and veterans to make it work. |

I love Arenas but it would be the second coming of Maggette at his worst. Arenas isn't your typical team player.
Look at the Wizards now, they are playing well without him. Next season we have the offensive weapons and I see a young up & coming SG with fire power but with team mentality and I don't see "team concept" in Arenas. |
