According to the LA Times, the Clippers decided not to sign Diaz for the rest of the season after his 2nd 10 day contract expired. I think this move has more to do with roster flexibility. Right now the point guard/shooting guard positions are pretty well filled.
Also Brand was able to do running exercises and felt fine which is great news:
"It felt good," Brand said. "Slow as heck, but I'll get that up. You never know how much you miss something until it's gone. It's an old cliche, but it's true."

I wonder who they are going to bring in and evaluate? Wonder what position MD is looking to fill?
Great news about EB. At this point, I just hope he can play this season so he could build cohesiveness with Kaman & AT. |

| There are actually some pretty good players who have a lot of potential in the D league that the Clips could road test. Look at the pick up the Warriors made last year and now that guy is a starter. We should have grabbed Azubuike (sp). But whoever they pick is likely a player who can play a role or back up the core players we have now. Not a savior. The D League is just that, the development league and anybody you get there will need some time and developing. |

| Yep, you guys were hyping Azubuike just before GSW picked him up at this time last year. Y'all were right on. Someone on Clipper Top Buzz should take bow! |
