Wow wow wow!Whole Spain is shocked by this new!!!

    Lakers new lineup:

    Fisher - Farmar
    Kobe
    Odom
    Gasol
    Bynum

I have mixed emotions...On the one hand Pau will have the opportunity to play for the ring but on the other hand he has reforced our city rival. If Gasol mixes well in this team they are gonna do something big this year...But do not worry!!I'll keep on supporting the Clips over everything!!!But I have to recognize that I'm happy for Pau because he really needed a change of team and he could play with one of the greatest as Kobe is and a big center like Bynum.

Yeah, and as soon as the play offs are over in Spain, expect for Marc Gasol, Pau's brother whom the Lakers drafted in the second round to be here with the Lakers as a back up center.

Marc has been traded to Memphis. But anyways although Marc is a great player and is playing very well in Spain right now, I have my doubts he could do something in NBA. He is 0 athletic but he's bigger than his brother and with a great knowledge of the game.

I wonder what's going to do Navarro when this season finishes. He came to the NBA because he wanted to play with the best and he went to Memphis because of Pau. Now he's in Memphis alone but his contract expires this year so...I guess Navarro could be a Laker next year

...or a Clipper. C'mon Miguel, I don't think Navarro is Pau's little puppy. We should try and get him if we can.

^^ You got a point there CJ Very Happy I have seen Navarro play but I'm not very impressed with his defense or his size. He can hit the 3 and drive into the lane, but he's pretty small and could be a defensive liability. I like the Raptor's Calderon better. Who do you think is better Miquel?

IT amazes me how lucky the Lakers are! They get an amazing player for a nothing player that they wanted to get rid of anyway. Seems like Memphis wanted to clear cap space, but the Lakers benefited. NO CHAMPIONSHIP THOUGH. I notice how when the smallest thing good happens for Laker fans, the egos grow fifty times bigger than the significance of the event that occured

Calderon is a playmaker and Navarro a shooting guard. They're completelly different. Is obvious that Navarro isn't a physichal force but is a great shooter, in fact, he has already scored 8 3's in the same game this season. Navarro has always been a basketball talent offensively. He was born to score. I agree that defensively is a potato but it's mainly because his physique. Great basketball IQ, believe me: he has played with pros since he was 17 with one of the best Europe teams...Good passer. He has never needed to develop his body to be better than the others in Europe. NBA is different but at his age he's not gonna become a gym rat. He signed a contract for just one year with Memphis for few money (538$). He earned much more money playing in Barcelona so he has lost money coming to the NBA,but he trusted in himself thinking he could get a better contract the next year if he could shine this season.

Calderon is a PG with great physichal conditions despite being a white athlete. He's quick and strong. Defensivelly he's great too. While Navarro has always had a sixth sense for this game, Calderon has had to work hard. He has developed his shooting with a lot of work and you just have to see one Raptor game to see his level right now. He has great passion for basketball and I've seen him improving every year. Every year he plays better and better, and right now there was many people who thought he deserved to be in the AllStar.

To sum up I would get both. Wink Wink. Calderon is a starter while Navarro could come off the bench.

Gotta love it miguel, good call!

Your right Navarro is a shooter while Calderon has a better all around game and is was snubbed by the NBA gods in the ALL STAR game. Calderon is flying high right now and having a chance to get him will surely cost us plus I don't think the Raptors will let him go that easily. I think we have a better chance at getting Navarro. IMHO

Thanks for the in depth report Miquel! Yup in theory we could get both as free agents. Do you think Navarro will stay in the NBA after this season that his buddy is on another team or will he go back and play in Spain?

Navarro will continue in NBA for sure. There will be teams interested in his services. He could sign for 3 million$. Keep an eye on Miami. I insist we are talking about a guy who posseses the most 3FG made in a game for a rookie of all time. He's a proven shooter and if he's on fire he can destroy you. Right now he's second in scoring among all the rookies with 11 points. I know he's not the typical NBA player: strong, full of tattoos, athletic...NAVARRO SIMPLY SMELLS BASKETBALL.
