roll

let's everyone take a deep breath here and reflect on who won the championship last year! the super 3, no! a team built around one great player, norwitz, and a VERY, VERY GOOD supporting cast of five AND a well ballanced bench, with older vets, YES! my point is this, dallas, in that run, had norwitz, we have blake, and you can almost equal up our current 5 roster with theirs. i feel, if we just tweak our roster some, especially at the sf, AND BARRING NO INJURIES LONGER THAN TWO DAYS, and we draft another PRIME starter for next year, we'd be at least as good as okc with a championship on the horizon like dallas. let's not throw in the kitchen sink AND the fridge[ kaman, gordon, bledsoe, aminu, jordan AND the minny pick] for one or two players. it didn't work for miami or the knicks, and denver played better AFTER melo was gone! Shocked so why get caught up in all the emotion of jumping on an offer of ALL FOR ONE[TWO MAYBE], if the backup isn't there?[ like miami]. it worked for dallas and is paying off for okc. now that's not to say a SHREWD DEAL for a top fa isn't out of the question, just don't go overboard roll our minny pick ALONE is almost as good as our #1 pick was for griffin, so let's not be so hasty to just throw it into the pile, OK? If we could get butler or prince or iggy for a shrewd deal[ meaning only one player or even just cash], and before the season starts, i think not only are the playoffs a real happening, but our success will even have more of an effect on good fa's taking a look at us for their next locker room location! Very Happy

I understand what your saying here, butyou cant expect the super team to win it all the first year and then say it was a bust if it doesnt work. Nearly everytime a time gives up to get a super star it works in behalf of the team getting the superstar. I cant think of a single time thru out history were a team overpayed for a superstar and it wasnt worth it. Give way a million role players if you have to to get a stud, and then fill your team back up with role players again.. its a machine, and a few high perfomance pieces with a bunch of servicable parts is a lot better than all average servicable pieces... and there is nothing gaurenteed about a draft pick. send it out for a gaurenteed star

Just wondering...you know his name is Nowitzki, right? Not "Norwitz"
