Well they lost, but they put up a good fight against The Thunders.

LOL @ ESPN saying Rubio had an IMPRESSIVE debut. 6 points, 6 assists and 5 boards. He had 4 fouls as well. OKC has 0 bench at all, and 3 of their starters are rotation players that get 20-28 minutes a game. What would have been more impressive is a W by Minnesota and say 15 points, 7 assists and 5 boards. Rubio is NOT very good I am tired of fans here and other fans talking this kid up like he's Pistol Pete.

That is an impressive debut, for a rookie.

Kyrie Irving played the RAPTORS (lol) and had 6 points (2-12 shooting) and 7 assists and 3 rebounds, and he was the number one pick!

Don't hate on a rookie in his first game, especially when he played efficiently and didn't have a turnover.

That isn't impressive at all. That's how horrible this past draft class was and how horrible all the rookies in the nba this year are.

Thank you! The first 3 threads don't belong here. (Lakers, Gordon, and this one).

Gordon one you could sorta put on the edge here. Lots of people miss him from what I've seen and have desperate hopes he somehow ends up back here.

Gordon will always be loved by me and many Clipper fans for life, unless he totally bashes us in a completely unnecessary way. I'm sure it'll die down a bit once we start off the year 20-0 Smile

Repped High Quality Post

watch the game, stats mean nothing. the offense completely changed when ridnour came out and rubio subbed in. he was there for crunch time and nearly led that team to victory against the favorites to win the west. not bad for his debut.

Rubio did have an impressive debut. He had several passes that brought the arena to its feet. It was fun watching him play. He did get limited time and he isn't considered a scorer. So one has to watch him play to appreciate his talent. He had 2 or 3 wow moments. That was a fun game to watch.
