According to Coach Dave Miller on 710 ESPN, he said his sources tell him there's a serious trade brewing for Mo and expect him to be gone in 7-10 days.

Someone mentioned that last week with our glut of PGs,,once Bledsoe is healthy (Um,,in 7-10 days?), see ya Mo. I dunno if that is the right call yet,,,Mo looked pretty darn good out there,,but we are out of trade pieces I would think.

Makes sense. Mo is playing it cool but he's clearly unhappy as a bench player.

Kinda proved today on the ESPN web page. Article about CP3 where he states he doesn't mind being a SG too because then he isn't always the one to look at. The end of the article mentions how MO was to be the starting PG and was kind of angry when yanked in the 4th agaisnt GS. And,,he was unavailable for comments on Tuesday.

Sour grapes or unhappy camper means trade when you are trying to build chemistry.

Yup. Especially because he has absolutely zero right to be mad. 22-30 minutes a night as a great 6th man is ideal for him. If he thinks he's a star PG he needs to really think hard because he's not. If he was smart he would just accept his role. Unless he wants to end up getting traded to a place like Cleveland like Baron did. He may end up on a team like the Bobcats and really start hating his life.

Basically these 3 links say that Mo accepted being a backup and didn't mind coming off the bench.

In my eyes, he's a strong candidate for 6th man of the year & is an excellent solution/role as a backup PG.

Why would we consider trading him when we are lacking a backup Center for Deandre and we would then be lacking a backup PG/SG for CP3?

Bledsoe isn't back yet, let alone proven as much as Mo is.

Is the Clipper front office putting all their eggs in 1 basket with Foye?

If Williams is truly unhappy.....that sucks cause he's a perfect fit for the TEAMS goal.

If he wants out, just shows where his motives are. Wining takes a backseat to minutes and individual success. Kinda reminds me of his hissyfit when he originally wasn't selected to the all-star game a few years back.

It's in his nature.

travis leslie, foye, and bledsoe when he gets back.. it did seem like mo was unhappy.. it'd be smarter to get a backup center, Cook is not going to do it in the rotation..

Keep Mo!!!!!!!!! It is not just about the minutes he gets or being 6th man, it is about what happens if CP3 or Chauncey gets injured and we need somebody to step into the starting role. He is the best insurance policy money can buy........well, we already own him. We can sign an adequate backup center for DJ and spend chump change, so why trade Mo for one. We don't want to give up a very valuable asset for a back up center who is going to play sparingly.

Mo for Millsap makes the most sense.

idk if the jazz would make that trade. millsap is probably their best player. i like millsap too but if we trade mo, we should try to get a center. trading mo right now only makes sense if he is unhappy with his role. other than that, we lose a key backup of cp3. it only makes sense if we got a solid backup center for mo. then we would have to go out and get a michael redd type of player to improve the bench.

We don't need another power foward like Millsap. Maybe we can trade Mo for Enes Kanter if Utah wants to trade him.

^ im liking that kanter kid. the kid will be a beast in the league. 11 rebounds in 22 minutes in his debut. i doubt the jazz will trade him since he is their future. thats why they got rid of okur.

Why would Utah do that? Kanter is a big part of their future. With him, Favors, and Jefferson, Millsap seems to be the odd man out.

This I don't understand. It's easier to get a chump change PG/SG than getting a chump change big man.

Big men cost a lot more, so if you pick one up for very cheap, he's going to be horrible. On the other hand, if you pick up a PG/SG for very cheap, they'll be able to contribute. Big men are a premium in this league.. No need to have a backup point guard making 9 mil a year.

Mo Williams is doing great off the bench, but he's also an expiring contract. He may be worth more than you guys think (in terms of trade value). I like his contributions to our team too, and I like his leadership but we gotta look at what's best for the team.

being 19, and debuting in the nba might do that to u. gasol schooled him with his footwork about 3 times in a row. give the kid 2 years and he will be a monster. he just needs experience.

Mo' is a no lose. We keep him he's a big plus, if we trade him for a center, big plus. If Bledsoe is has any talent he'll be taught by the best.

Also he's a class act and may not whine

Mo looks so good that it will be foolish to trade him for anything less than full value. If winning is a concern for him and going deep in the playoffs then he will stay with the Clippers, or at least stay long enough to see what potential we have. I'd rather make 9 million and sit on the bench with the Clips than start in Charlotte, Cleveland or Memphis, but I don't know if Mo thinks the same. After the first quarter of the season the FO will assess our needs and what teams need a veteran PG. Mo's value may keep going up. Cross your fingers....

I have mixed feelings about this. If Mo is disgruntled and is going to complain about PT, sure, he has to go. But if he's content and is buying in to his role as 6th man, I might like to see him stick around. Having a guy that you can count on for at least 8 points off the bench on any given night can be pretty valuable and I think Mo brings that. Without him, depending on who he's traded for, I could see our second unit having trouble scoring at times.

Not surprised at all. Mo Williams' actions and body language speak volumes. It's his contract year and he wants more minutes to pad stats to get a new contract. So yeah trading him makes sense for the team chemistry. I'm perfectly fine w/ Foye taking over as the 6th man. Hope we can get a solid player in return.

Yup there's no way the Jazz are trading him- the #3 pick, a good center at a good contract for many years. He's going to be a good one.

I say KEEP HIM to, but if he's going to disrupt chemistry, at what point is he of any value to the team?

You can't force the unwilling..so if that's the case...trade while his stock is high.

I hear from my mates in Utah that the Jazz want to give Favors more minutes and with Kanter also in the mix, Millsap becomes tied to the bench. However, I don't know why would he want to move from one bench to the another. If I had to guess, I'd think we keep Mo as there is nothing else we can get on the center position that is close to what we'll be giving!

There are 8,500,00 million reasons why we would trade Mo. I think it's for this year and next year too.

DTS won't pay $17m for a backup guard when he has to pay Blake and CP3 up with extensions.

It wouldn't surprise if if he was traded to the Lakers for the trade exception they got from Odom. And maybe a sweetener like a future 1st.

This would be bad idea. We really dont have a true shooting guard on this poster, but Mo can fill that void pretty well. I dont wan to see the front office dump his salary like they have done to countless other talented players that have come through here, a.k. Zach Randolph. Nor do I want them to trade him away for junk pieces like we traded Marcus Camby away for Blake, Outlaw and other Portland garbage.

Mo should remain on this team unless we find an offer that will bring us a nice package to return some of the depth we lost in the CP3 trade. Please Olshey do not let Mo go without equal value in return. And under no circumstances should we trade Mo to the Lakers for their draft picks. The last team to do this was Memphis and they got garbage picks in 2008 and 2010 because the Lakers record was so good. If we are trying to get picks in exchange for Mo at least find a trading partner that is scheduled to be in the lottery so the pick is worthwhile

It's just my guess.

Also the new "Derrick Rose" rule might hit us this offseason. If and he should, Blake make the all star game, he's eligible to get a max deal.

DTS won't want to go over the luxury tax so getting rid of Mo's contract would be his plan.

What do u think? LAC gets Robin lopez & 2nd rounder. PHX gets Mo Williams & Linas kleiza. TOR gets Steve Nash & Brian Cook.

DTS has never shown a willingness to into luxury tax, so in that regard if keeping Mo Williams means we are going into luxury tax or dangerously close then he will no doubt send the order. I just dont want to see us get rid of him for nothing. The past two years I have seen a lot of talent leave this team and the front office was content to just do it for salary cap reasons I'm tired of this practice. We need to at least turn these players into draft picks

I think a lot of it has to do with how well Bledsoe plays when he returns. Paul made Darren Collison into a legit NBA point guard and if he can have the same affect on Ebled, you have to think about trading Mo for another piece (wing or big)

unless some other team makes an offer we can't refuse, mo is staying here, unless he starts rockin' the boat [pun intended] of chemistry, in which we might have to settle for something less just....
