By the way we're still over the cap.

DTS has been below the cap forever. If he needs to go over this year, then so be it. Staples is sold out every game and road games are as well.

Don't want SJax but if it means getting Livingston and Delfino, then sign me up.

Not going to happen....we can go after Delfino in the off season if we choose. Mo's not going anywhere, IMO...till the season ends...maybe.

Mo can opt out at seasons end. Hope he doesn't, but he can. If he does that then he's gone. Might as well cheer for him while he's here. The better he does, the better we are.

Still haven't seen or heard any rumors of us trying to trade or attempting to trade for anyone. As of right now I don't think we'll be making any more moves unless something crazy happens before the deadline which is like March 15 I believe. Anything we say is just fans talking and that's about it.

I am not 100% Olshey would wanna mortgage our future by throwing away future draft picks ( because that's what it will probably cost us to make a move ) to try to win now. I believe, personally that they feel we can win with our team right now and make an impact in the playoffs. And we may not be championship ready with this team even if we added another piece. We could be looking at the team we have going forward the rest of the year. Why? They may wanna see exactly what our team does come playoff time ( pending we make it ) to see exactly who and what we need to bring this team over the top. Blake, CP3, Jordan, Bledsoe etc. are not very old, and if Butler remains healthy we have a great team moving forward.

We need to maintain w/e cap relief we get with Foye, Gomes etc. coming off the books at year's end to dump that money towards extending Blake and CP3, and using w/e cap we have to fill any holes we need filled. We could easily screw ourselves by bringing in a big contract that would hinder us from going deep into the playoffs like a Stephen Jackson.

We can go over the cap to extend any of the players we have under contract.

That may be the case, but we need as much money as possible to go after players via free agency at years end. If Billups comes back I'd expect him to start or be our 6th man. All we need then, is role players that can take over where Gomes, Foye and Cook left off. If we bring any of those 3 back it may be Foye but who knows. Gomes and Cook aren't the greatest players for a bench but we'll need a SG or SF that has good size and skill and Delfino, Livingston, Ray Allen and others are all safe bets to play either position, and will cost money.

The more money the team saves the less money Sterling would have to pay if we go over the Luxury tax or w/e. I'm not 100% how the new CBA works but yeah.

Mo for Rondo and Bledsoe and Gomes for Ray allen and maybe throw in a trade exception.

Rondo can play alngside CP3 to replace the Billups gaurd tandem and Ray Allen can come in for Butler or Rondo. I think the team would be awsome. Blake would be able to run more. Since Rondo is more of a up-tempo gaurd and we could look to Ray and CP3 for leadership. I think it would be an amazing team. Especially becasue they are trying to get rid of rondo and would need some gaurds to replace him....

^^ Rondo? Rondo can't shoot to save his life. His best attribute is his passing. The reason why Billups worked is because he's a better shooter than passer.

Gomes is under contract for one more year.

Yes, I agree Rondo is not a shooter. Thats why you bring in Ray Allen the Shooter. Rondo would bring an up tempo stye that the Clippers are lagging on. The team would be awsome.

These trade proposals are worse than the force trades in 2k

why would we need rondo? i know cp3 can shoot, but hes no billups. rondo cant shoot to save his life. i know he wont shoot a lot but there are going to be situations where he would have to shoot. ray allen wouldnt be happy as the backup. i think we need to be realistic and see that if we can get a carlos delfino for a tpe then we would be better off.

Michael Beasley is being offered to the laker for a 2nd round pick according to trade rumors. Beasley would be a great fit as a wing defender. He was the 2nd pick in the draft a few years ago and can play. The Clips should take a serious look at Beasly.
