Big game tonight- a very winnable road game against a solid team- if the Clippers can win they will pull to within one game of .500. Sam Cassell is listed as questionable, while everyone else (except Rebraca) is ready to go.

The game really shouldn't have to come down to Tim Thomas having to shoot a 3 to tie. After a nice first half the Clippers came out and simply got outworked. The Magic started the 2nd half playing extremely hard and the Clippers didn't respond with any energy. It really came down to rebounding and defense- i.e. who wanted the game more. Elton Brand was on fire with 10 points in like the first 10 minutes but he only managed 5 after that, + he coughed the ball up 6 times. Livingston got torched by Jameer Nelson- Nelson must have gotten 5 or 6 easy layups going right by Shaun. That was really frustrating to watch. I think Sam Cassell with planar fascitis could've done way better guarding Nelson.

This was simply an awful loss- a game they really needed. Let's see now if they can bounce back and play a complete game tomorrow night against the Heat.

i think the second half can be best summed up by what Clippers broadcaster Mike Smith said, "the Clippers are playing not to lose, when instead they should be playing to win."

Livingston "aka Mr. Potential" has dissapointed us as many times...I insist on we should trade him now that he still has potential. The Magic are a good team but it's a pitty when you see that the player that has killed you is jameer nelson. He's a good player, without any doubt, but he's not Dwight Howard for example. Freedom for Singleton!!!A road game comes and James doesn't play."Me not understand"

Yeah I kept yelling at the TV screen for Dunleavy to put Singleton in the 3rd quarter once Thomas got his 4th foul. His energy and athleticism would've helped since Orlando was getting all the rebounds and loose balls. I just don't understand it.

I would trade Livingston for Jameer Nelson in a second, because Nelson is a true point guard and has proven himself. How the hell is a 6-7 pt guard gonna guard "lets say" a 6 foot speedy pt guard??? Unless Shaun was quick as hell, (which he's not) the size is not an advantage as far as defense goes. I'd only trade Shaun for a guy like Nelson or Chris Paul. Maybe we do need Diaz, cause he is extremely quick and I'm sure he can play defense if coached well. I dunno. I'm all in favor of keeping this team together, but if we can get a superstar to correct our weaknesses, I'm all for that. Nothing against Shaun or Sam, but I think we're seeing a re-occuring theme here: good PGs are burning us.

On another note, Brand and Kaman missed back to back, twice, last night at the end of the game. Anyone know what happened there?? They gotta make those shots if they wanna win. But give the Clippers credit for staying in this game!!

Haha, maybe you can blame the new leather basketballs for Thomas's airball shot. Wink
