Just curious. I see him jumping high on balls he has no chance of getting. Then I see Kevin Love snag boards moving like a slug.

Yeah, you're right. He should be grabbing all the boards for a sh!tty team just to pad his stats instead of actually contributing to team wins.

Kevin Love is soooooooo much better, AND he'll get to spend May and June sitting on some beach somewhere.

Wow, what a sucker Blake is... competing for championships... pffft!

Dude you are truly a TERRIBLE troll. You show up with stories about Blake being mortally wounded (source... anyone?) and proceed to try to fly that bullsh*t for a couple of weeks (25 posts) and then when nobody bites, you come with "Well he hasn't gotten 20 rebounds".

You know who has? I bet you do... Bynum, the delicate giant.

You wanna talk stats? Blake started the first 4 games of this year. Because he isn't b*tch enough to beat up on someone half his size.

Go back to your withering little .500 purple and piss outfit and do what you can to make them a little more competitive with the NEW dominant L.A. team, rather than pathetically trying to sabotage the hottest franchise in this city... the franchise that everybody loves to love... Lob city... the god-damned, mutha-f**kin' CLIPPERS!!!

...and do me a personal favor. Show us the respect of having some knowledge and imagination if you're gonna come here to troll, 'cos right now, you're just sucking Jim Buss' Balls!

I think it's a valid issue. Keep in mind Love has only Darko to compete in rebounding with who is a career 4 rebounds per game player. He just doesn't rebound, while Blake is competing with DJ and usually a pretty active back court for rebounds, even going into last year.

And yes, Cleepers, at this point in their careers, K. Love is a better basketball player than BG, but not by much.

He's a better rebounder. I'd say Blake is the better more efficient offensive player. Better defender(which says a lot about Love) also. He's getting to the line a lot, which has his PPG up right now.

obviously love's a better rebounder, he's the best this league's seen in a long time. he actually uses his smarts to get to the rebounds quickly/ to get into best position. but he'll always be one of those players that's only good for fantasy basketball , or being the 3rd option on a team. will never be on blake's level, overall.

PS. has love ever scored 47 points? just wonderin, you know since he's on a bad team and all, you'd think he'd have scored 47 by now...

No 20-rebound games, but he had six 18-rebound games.

Since DJ is our starting center (no more Kaman) and with the addition of Solomon, Caron, & nut cracker, don't expect Blake to dominate our rebounding this season.

yeah, that's why I asked. I remember some of those games where I just assumed he had them. But when I googled, I couldn't find anything

kevin love's rebounding numbers has more to do with his skill/talent/positioning/aggressiveness than being on on the timberwolves. im very confident he'd put up those numbers on any team.

i agree with clipperde$, love's a better overall player than griffin right now. griffin just gets all the press for being a beast of a dunker. there's absolutely, positively no debating that.

I'm getting tired of reading Love and Griffin comparisons. They are two different players but both are really good in their own ways.

Love is playing out of his mind and he's added a step back 3. That's not Blake's game.

Rebounds/points/assists are just stats. I care more about wins!

Blake is fortunate enough to be with a better team even before CP3.

And not to biased but I truly believe Blake makes his teammates better. Love can rebound and and score but he doesn't pass the ball (lower assists per game) and he doesnt demand the attention Blake does to get teammates open looks. Watch a fastbreak or even a halfcourt set and watch how Blake is always shadowed to avoid lobs to him.

I think K.Love's talent comes from not being athletic. He's more of a Randolph type that plays below the rim. I think he's done a great job of compensating for that and it has translated very well into the Pros. With that said, he's an outside shooter with no real post up game. He has also become the number one option on a bad team that hasn't translated into wins. On a good team, Kevin isn't the first option. He'll get his boards, but no team will win with him averaging those numbers.

Both Blake and Love are the PF's of the now and future. Both would be great on any team they played for. Both are only going to get smarter and better.

Pick your poison.

if blake develops a consistent jumper, he will be ahead of love for sure. he can pass, he has handles, freakish athleticism and is extremely powerful. love is intelligent, crafty and shoots better and rebounds better. but like BG, he is not a good defender. he often forces up bad shots and gets rebounds off his own misses. i like kevin love, but in the long run blake will be a better player. k love reminds me of a more advanced elton brand.

I like Kevin Love a lot. Both are becoming super stars in their own right.

If I had to choose between the two, I would choose Blake over Love even if he is not as skilled at this point in his career. He has the intensity of a beast and is way more fun to watch. Basketball is a game and a spectacle and it's ok to enjoy watching sometime truly amazing.

Blake doesn't play defence KLove isn't the scorer as Griffin and Aldridge are not by much though Aldridge cant rebound like these two even though he has an old Camby to compete with.

Who's the best PF? It's up for grabs but all of these 3 have one quantity they have to improve on. I still believe Amare's the best he is the best scorer and rebounds solidly. Dirk is a great scorer but does not play defense or rebound like a seven footer. Pau is the most skilled big men, but he's soft and alot of attention goes to Kobe and he is struggling now. I would put it like this 1 Amare 2 A Kevin Love 2 B Blake 3 Aldridge 4 Dirk 5 Pau
