It was a terrible decision to pick Livingston over Ben Gordon. What were they thinking giving up their number 2 pick switching for the number 4 and passing on Gordon. I would try to swing a deal with the Bulls for Ben Gordon. We would have to make it tantalizing, meaning we would have to throw in our number 1 pick and Maggette to get the deal done. I think this would be our best move. We need an outside threat to win.

I think Dunlevy was right to try and trade Maggette for Jason Terry. We need a quick guard who can create space for our bigs. But I think Ben Gordon might have more upside, and he is useless on the Bulls because they have no big man. Maggette would fit in well there and give them a big guard and they might get lucky and get a good pick in the draft.

    Hindsight is 20/20.

I think we can go the season and wait to see our options. Like i said, getting equal value for maggette is going to be hard. If we lose him ,we lose him but then we can rationally weigh our options with the money we will have to see what we can get. Trading for the sake of trading will not work.

Corey and a 1st round pick? Are you nuts? I would have trouble doing that trade just straight up 1 for 1, seeing as Ben Gordon is very one-dimensional. Maggette has much more facets to his game. Instead all these trades, why don't we just wait out one bad season, so next year our team will be stacked.

    Line - up

    PG Livingston
    SG Maggette
    SF Thornton
    PF Brand
    C Kaman

That is not a great idea. The value is not equal. I'd take Maggette over Gordon anyday, but that's just me.

Heck no to this trade- in fact I'd only consider it if Chicago is trading Gordon + a first round pick for Maggette, and not the other way around or a straight up swap.

I agree on this one. I am wrong. After hearing that the Bulls are agressively shopping Ben Gordon and that he is injured, I would not do this trade either. I was thinking of the Ben Gordon of last year!
