Right now, the simple answer is no, but we CAN win the Pacific, which will give us home court. If we keep progressing we will be able to hold our own against ANY team when May/June rolls around.

This early, it's anyone's guess.

All of our off-season hype and signings sort of 'masked' our horrible problem last season of not winning road games. Granted we've played in Portland and San Antonio after the win at GS, but still we look really different on the road. VDN and company (or the vets) are going to need to figure out how to put it together on the road or we aren't going to do anything terribly special as the season progresses.

^ True. That's why I keep saying that the best test of this team will come in the first half of next month with the Grammys road trip. WAS, ORL, CLE, PHI, CHA, DAL. We should go 4-2 or better on that trip if we a truly a top level team. 3-3 would be barely acceptable, but if we go 2-4 we are definitely nothing special.

^^^ That's a tough trip. Of all the teams we play, only Washington and Charlotte can be considered bad. Orlando and Philidelphia are both looking pretty strong and Cleveland has been playing most teams pretty tough. And Dallas seems to be picking things up a bit after their slow start. I'd like 4-2, but I would settle for 3-3.
