What do you think of clipper daryl?

What do you think of that white guy on the mic that gets on the court during timeouts and tries to pump up the crowd?

so far, the only game I missed this season has been the portland game. Personally, I love clipper daryl. he took 5 minutes of his time to chill and take a pic with me. I love how he starts the cheers and the wave. But I know a few people that wish he would have taken cubans offer and get out of here..

As for the white guy, please give him a new role in the organization. I feel sorry for him because he cant get the crowd going. He says everybody on your feet, go crazy! But then nobody stands up. Then he says the dreadful "I cant hear you." Well, no kidding, everyone wants you to get off the court.

I don't mind those two as much as the bandwagon fans cheering "blake" every chance they get, I have to explain to them that its pronounced clippers and not blake.

I met Clipper Daryl and hung out with him for an hour. He's a cool dude. Yeah, he wants to make money but who doesn't? He LOVES The Clippers and he's been down for the team for many years when the seats were empty.

How many of us would lead a half empty stadium in a Lets Go Clippers when we had a losing record year after year after year?

Yeah, love that bit. Plus it's good that he's wearing old Clippers players jerseys and not just Griffin/CP3 stuff. Always gets the crowd pumped up!

Seriosuly, part of the reason I was so drawn to the clippers were the amazing fans. The thing is, the following that blake gets is very kobe esque. These clowns can't even name our starting 5 and that drives me nuts.

Even though many fans are there mainly for Blake/CP3, It's still pretty damn cool to see the staples center filled and cheering for the Clippers.

That guy works for some kind of real estate deveolper or something as such that is in West LA and does this road show for them (but for the life of me I don't see how that helps them). Jerk goes to most sporting events and does his spaztic dance. I saw him right in front of me (like 20 rows) at a USC football game. Idiot didn't have any USC gear so the shirt he was rocking was close to Cardinal color but it wasn't and it had some Ivy league school's name on it. Trust me,,this guy never would yell Blake,,I am sure he doesn't know the name of anyone on the team.

I dont know why everyone is hating on the bandwagon still so much... weve sold out every game this year and the preseason game.... I cant remember a season that we sold out this many games let a lone 100% of the games. These bandwagoners bring in money for the team and media attention that is all part of changing the culture and making us a real team.

Clipper Stripper is awesome and Clipper Daryl is pretty much a classic staple for us at this point.

Id definately prefer they be there then not, just saying I always thought of clipper fans as not just fans of our team or of certain players, but fans of basketball in general. I enjoy watching the game no matter what team is playing. the people who are now showing up are not those kind of fans. When you have to sit through all the home games sitting next to these ppl it can get a little aggravating but at the same time I understand we need these types of people to bring in revenue for our team to progress.

yeah he's def not a fan, but a "staple" at staples. sometimes i find him outside by the intersection dancing, even when its not a gameday. weird dude.

I've never been to a Laker-Clipper game (Clips court). Is it really 50-50 like Laker homers say it is? What about when we are a good team (2005-06 and this year)? Surely, it's at least 52-48 Clipper fans?

Last night there was about 65% Laker fans if not more... Hate to say it but that's how it is until we win a championship :/

The Clipper crowd has been brutal. There are moments watching on TV where I get excited as hell because it is a huge stop, huge score whatever it may be and the fans make NO NOISE whatsoever. Im all for Staples being sold out but it seems since alot of the Bandwagoners show up only to see HIghlight plays and Blake dunks...they dont cheer for anything else but that. Notice. Even when guys deserve huge rounds of applause (Paul did yesterday or Reggie even) none of them ever get it. ANd it sucks cause I see these things at other Arenas. The fans are loud when there is a highlight Dunk/Play but my biggest pet peeve right now has to be their luck of appreciation when a player is performing well. Give them a damn standing O!!!

And the guy who takes off the 5 or whatever jerseys is great. I think hes a great and its always funny watching him in the end when he runs out like "damn! I am out of Jerseys!" Hahahaha

and I think the "White guy" that talks to the crowd is Mike Rylander or something like that...he has Twitter I believe

I agree with the comment that all the bandwagon fans are QUIET as F*** when it comes to cheering for us to WIN. They only cheer for highlight plays. You can see that on Sportcenter.

I want us to WIN.

And CLIPPERSTRIPPER... WELCOME TO CLIPPERS TOP BUZZ brotha! I always enjoy it when you do your thing. NO HOMO. LOL

CLIPPER NATION.

Let's do this.

In the past yes, but the crowd (outside of Lakers games) has been better this season. They seem a lot feistier than usual. Rose and Kobe both got MVP chants during their games, but Clippers crowd countered w/ even louder boos. In the past, I'm not sure that happens. I also read that Reggie got a standing ovation during one of the games, and I'm sure CP3 has by now. Maybe they don't "rise as one" yet, but hey, it's a start...

Not everyone is quite on the level yet, since there are of course a lot of new fans, but the crowd will get even better in time. Hard to top Blazers, Jazz and OKC's crowds at their best, but I just don't want us to become a Lakers crowd that sit stagnantly in the lower levels when the poorer fans are left screaming from the 300's. ::shudder::

i like how clipper darrell is toning down his Let's Go Clippers Let's go chant, i felt it can be a little disruptive to the rhythm at times. I like that the fans are yelling Defense now. But can y'all please stop doing the wave? it makes us all look bad

Bandwagon fan=FAKE

As in TONS of Laker fans.

Do you want that type of mentality for our team.

TRUE fans I appreciate are those of the Utah Jazz, Spurs, Bulls & Celtics fans.

right now, we are almost the epitomy of The Atlanta Hawks of the West to where we the fans of other teams are just as loud as the TRUE Clipper fans.

Me personally, I don't want any fake fans or just all of a sudden became fans because of who's on the team on my team at all.

As a true sports fan (Angels, Clippers, USC, Falcons) it's a cardinal unwritten rule to just jump off one team and get on another because they're hot and entertaining.

You stick with your team through thick and thin and in our case..through more losses than wins.

All these other new comers give the die hards a bad impression and I have no problem naming at least 30 Clipper players of the past to show my true passion or this team.

Long live.....Zejlko Rebraca, Rick Brunson, Yaroslev Korolev, James Singleton. Chris Wilcox, Predrag Drobnjak, Marko Jaric, Wang Zhizhi, Bobby Simmons, Earl Boykins, Eric Piatkowski, Cherokee Parks, Al Thorton & Paul Davis!!!!

Oh the pain!!!

lol it's just basketball don't take it too serious come on now. sure there's a upsurge of new friends and bandwagon fans but who cares, maybe some people are just basketball fans and they want to enjoy a good game of basketball but isn't really familiar with our team I don't mind, don't take this game like a religion .

Wow, that's really a shame. Escorted out of your own home game. I bet it was the cholos who also ruin Dodger games.
