as you can see still pretty good on NBA.com sixth in sf and second in the west for both efficiency calculations. Just trying to point out clippers good play. Hope Kaman can play today so we could at least have a chance. With out kaman we have no one able to box out!!GO CLIPPERS!! |

| Pretty good statistical proof that Corey is having a great season, esp. the last month and a half. I just hope he won't ask the Clippers to break their bank in order to re-sign him! |

That's exactly what management has to think about with him. Corey most likely will want more money than he makes now. If we sign Elton back, I dont think we have much room for Corey. If we address our PG issue with the draft then we may have room, but if we sign a FA PG to be our man next year, I dont think Maggette will be here. Plus he's gonna shop around, thats for sure. Bottom line is as David mentions: The Clippers cant break the bank in order to re-sign him. |

| he's going to want rashard lewis money, definitely won't get that, but will want something close. it just depends whether there are other teams desperate enough to fork over that much to him. it's going to be an interesting offseason. we'll definitely see how much sterling loves maggette. |

| I honestly don't think that he is going to be offered or want rashard lewis money. Rashard has to probably be the most overpaid star in the NBA. I think the clips will offer him something in the range of 5 year 60 million. They could offer him more money than anyone in the league because they could offer him a 6 year deal and other teams can only offer him 5 years. The main man in LA is EB everyone including corey knows this. I think that is a fair deal that he probably won't turn down. Worst case scenario is 6 year 70 mil which I think he would still take in a heartbeat. I don't believe anyone is going to offer him more than 5 year 60ish tops 70 mil which isn't that bad if you consider other contracts in the NBA. Our number one priority is EB for 09 and our number 2 priority is CM in 08. Long live clipper nation.... |
