Reports are the Lakers have some interest in Gilbert. Would be a MASSIVE upgrade over Derek Fisher ( honestly if they use him as a bench player they are retarded ). Could be trouble.

Gilbert Arenas if healthy will make the Lakers a Very Good Team. He can help them win at least +7 More games. I think that the Current Lakers are 6th - 8th seed at best. If they land Giblert I believe they would become a 3rd-6th seed in the Western Conference. Remember what happen in 2004 when Rasheed Wallace was traded to the Pistions. They went on to win the 2004 Finals. That was supposed to be the year of the Lakers. I don't think that even with Gilbert the Lakers can beat the Clippers or OKC. But thery probably beat everyone else in the West!!!

Gil will provide scoring and take pressure off of Pau, Bynum and Kobe and create more 3pt shots for Artest. Sorry he's still Artest, Metta World Peace is a retarded name.

Arenas to the Grizzlies more than likely. Hopefully me picking him up in my deep league may pay off. I just need him to mimic Leandro Barbosa's numbers and I'll be content.

Did you pick up Wilson Chandler? If not hurry and do so. I just picked him up last night and he now already has 7 points, 1 ast, 1 blk in his first quarter back!

Wilson Chandler was owned for awhile ( was even drafted on draft night ) and stashed away. Guy finally dropped him but that was like 2 months ago and someone picked him up and stashed him away again.

The league I am in has some of the best and most active fantasy players I've ever been a part of. I held onto Brook Lopez and still have him. The league is 14 teams deep at 15 guys per team, so just about anyone imaginable is owned.

When Al Horford got injured I immediately picked him up like 5 minutes later and have held onto him ( not bad a 9/9 a night, 2 FTM, 1.5 ast 1.2 stls ).

Someone gets hurt or traded literally seconds later these guys are logging on their CPU's and picking up / dropping guys. I just need a solid 10 points, 3 boards, 3 assists, 2 FTM, 1.5 3ptM and 1 stl avg from Arenas and I'd be happy. Thats a bit better than Barbosa was getting in certain areas but I just keep these guys because anyone that gets 10 points a night is owned, and it's nice to have depth.

I'm 3rd in my league right now and have one of the deepest teams in the league via key free agent pick ups.
