Assuming this was because of the no-call on Kenyon's drive to the basket as he got hacked by Marion. Hey, the guy's got reason to be upset.

So an assisant coach making way less than and average nba player, gets fined for more than superstar players do?Thats more than ron artest got for beating up a fan and kobe bryant for raping a girl

Great job David Stern!

I totally forgot we had Howard Eisley on the team, what a great coach we have there.

The referees should be fined for dumb and no calls.

That's a hefty fine. Too bad no fine for the refs who missed the call, a call that could have affected the outcome of the game.

refs should start getting their work reviewed. if they mess up a lot, then their pay should be docked or even get suspended for bad performance. however, if that happens, no refs will want to ref our games since we always seem to get reffing going against us. but this brings up another point, VDN is the Head coach, why isnt he speaking up. props to eisley for having the backbone to speak his mind.

I think something like that would be good at keeping refs accountable. The other practice I dont like is the whole "i will make it up to them for a bad call before." When does the cycle stop? Just make good unbiased calls, the past is the past make the best calls possible with the info at hand.

it would be good but idk if the "big" teams will love the idea since they wouldnt get the breaks they get now. i also dislike that practice of compensating for one bad call with another bad call. i know they are human, but its getting ridiculous how bad the reffing is. nice post clipperboy24

IMHO it did affect the outcome of the game. A no call on Dirk, then he also gets a call on the other end to sink us. Refs that blow that kind of crap need to sit in the naughty corner for a week,,no pay. We had that game, momentum was switching to our way,,but the refs took it back. PRobably didn't want to hear Cuban in their ears forever.

DTS should pay it.

Mike Brown only got $25,000 for going at a ref physically. When a player 'verbally abuses' a ref it's a $2,500 technical. Bullsh!t call.

i agree cleepers. yet another example of us getting shafted by the NBA. brown bumped a ref yet he only got one game suspension. if a clips coach did that he would be out 3 to 5 games and would get a 35k to 50 k fine.

hopefully he can appeal and wins, he was in the right to complain. The clippers should give some lucky fan a seat right near or on the court so he could do that dirty work, fans can say anything and won't get fined or thrown out unless its a threat.

^ That's a great idea. A competition where the best smack-talker wins a seat behind the bench to heckle the refs. But knowing Sterling's cheap a$$, he'd just do it himself... probably be pretty good too if you ask Kaman or Baron.

How much do asst. coaches make a year? Like 100k? We've got multiple if I'm not mistaken, that's a massive fine IMO.

lol and the person should get one of those college cone-like non-electric megaphones with the clippers logo on it.

Maybe just give it to what's his name, Clipper Daryl? Maybe that way everyone will see him and combine that with his already loud voice, maybe the fans will actually REALLY get into the game like GS, POR, OKC etc...
