I think team is looking at these old guys that can provide leadership and experience. Gomes has been around for awhile but never on a winning team.

VDN putting Gomes in crunch time is the same as Dunleavy putting Daniel Ewing in to guard Raja Bell in 06 playoffs. Why put a guy in a position to fail?

^ Agree

Thank U.

VDN has done it again. Time for us to be finding a new coach.

I would sign a player for a 10 day contract and still get rid of Gomes on March 1st. I doubt there will be any takers unless it involves other players though..

Julian Wright isn't a scorer but he can be solid on Defense and he rebounds and slashes. He can finish at the rim on his slashes and back door cuts. JuJu can become a Defensive specialist in the league if a coach defines his role for him and makes him buy into it. i wish we could get him and one of the SG's

unfortunately, that wont happen. we are 19-10. in 3rd place in the west. i dont think the FO will be in a rush to get rid of vdn at this time.

Elijah Milsap is supposed to be as good as his brother, but who knows.

wink look at the video that someone else posted on alan anderson, and if he is near this in game shape, we should at least give him a ten day contract! looks like he could contribute off the bench and he played four years at michigan st. wink

I agree, but still think we should wait until March. Somebody may even take Gomes in trade (hey, I can dream!).

wink what do you think to signing alan anderson to a ten day contract? his videos looked good and he didn't do to bad in china this season, plus he played on a champion spain team. what's to lose in a ten day off the bench?

Honestly, I think the F.O. should get SOMEBODY on a 10-day because, as you say, there's nothing to lose. As for Anderson in particular, I'm really not familiar enough with him to say that he should be the guy. I trust the F.O. to evaluate which F.A. would best fit our playoff needs, and then to measure that guy against any trades that may be possible March 1st-15th.

Watching the Knicks right now make me miss Novak, though! Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_20
