Would u guys do it? I haven't seen enough of Morrow to evaluate his defense, I just know he always lights us up.

My only reservation also would be about Morrow's defense. I suspect he's not as good a defender as Foye, so I wonder whether the offense we'd gain would be worth the defense we'd lose. If there's some way we could get Morrow without giving up Foye (or any of our other rotation players), that would be ideal.

No way......Randy Foye is needed if we want to go anywhere in the playoffs and is rarely injured. Foye brings a dynamic SG that actually has point guard dribbling skills and passing skills which is necessary for taking pressure off Mo Williams since he is not a pure point guard as well.......

So in a way Mo Williams makes Randy Foye better and Randy Foye makes Mo Williams better.

I would keep them both.............the only trades I would make would be with future picks, trade exceptions, Gomes or Cook.........the main thing we need now is a SF athletic enough to guard the SF and SG positions....say a Anthony Morrow(but not for foye or mo), Josh Childress, Corey Brewer, Martel Webster, Courtney Lee, Terrance Williams, Wesley Johnson, (wish we never got rid of novak)

besides ranye foye is the only shooting guard on our team........since VDN refusses to play rookies otherwise id add leslie to that group.

i'd do that foye defense is not that great he lacks height and his 3pt shooting is inconsistent, I rather the clippers get mayo instead though.

I'd do that in a heartbeat. Morrow is very consistent beyond the arc, and that is something we need.

ill take morrow any day. the dude is a way better shooter and scorer then foye. foye is a way better playmaker then morrow but when this guy is hot he will hit like 6 threes.

Terrence Williams would be an absolute steal, he had a decent rookie year but is benched now cause the 2/3 spot is crowded in Houston.

Remember how much better Marcus Thornton became after he got some playing time, this guy could be our Jeremy Lin

Morrow is a TERRIBLE defender. Outstanding 3 point shooter at 41% on the year 44% for his career has one year left on his contract after this one. Foye is a pretty good perimeter defender (though he lacks size) and is an Average 3 point shooter 33% on the year 36% on his career.

I'd take this trade ONLY if we swung a trade for a lockdown defender. Maybe someone like Dahntay Jones from Indiana?

Terrence Williams would be an amazing pick up. He's a Great defender and decent 3 point shooter. Has a Ton of upside.

It's a tough one, 50/50 for me. Our defense would suffer, but it would be nice to have a better 3 point shooter.

Terrence Williams is taller than Foye, but I'm not convinced if he'd be an upgrade over Randy. I remember ekker mention Delfino in another thread- I think he would be an upgrade- that would be a great acquisition if we can pull it off.

I don't think T-will is a better shooter than Foye, but has been improving his 3 pointer and is much better slasher. His intangibles makes him unique which is rebounding, defending, and passing.

I like Morrow, didn't he just put up like 40 something points? Dude can flat out shoot! Don't know about his "D" though.

What's Foye career high? I think I'll trade Foye for Morrow. We need a knock down shooter.

No need to send a 2nd round pick too. I'd probably do it without the pick. Morrow is one of the top 5 pure shooters in the game. We have a PG that'll get you wide open 3's all day. Makes sense. He might be a little worse defensively but that wouldn't sway me. It's not like we're a lock down defensive team to begin with.

I really appreciate Foye's game and the way he goes balls out every game but to grab a specialist like Morrow could give us a such a valuable weapon that I think it's worth it.

(If they want to dangle Farmar too, he would be a great combo guard off the bench. He would be a contributor for us.)

Randy Foye Hands Down. Anthony is a better shooter but cant do much more. Randy can score, Drive and defend. Randy is also a streak shooter and we he gets hot he can go off for a 30+ point game. Randy Foye can play. He was not getting much play with Billups. Foye was a stud for the Clippers last year after his Injury. I would say it was BG, EG, BD or MO, DJ than Randy Foye. He was a starter and played great when EG ewas hurt. So Clipper nation needs to give Randy some slack. He will have some huge games. I wont be surprised if he leads this team in scoring at least 5-7 more times this Season. Like when he had the 21 points. The guy can score and is a Starter... He is confident and does not back down...

How much is Randy gonna want to come back? He may not be had for 4.2 mil again. He dropped 8 treys in a game and had quite a few games last year with at least 4.

4.2 is too much, there are a million Randy Foyes, very serviceable but not great

If we have a starting sg thats pretty good I would rather have morrow. Morrow is a lights out shooter foyes shot comes and goes. Ecspecially on this team where blake and cp3 get doubled good luck leaving morrow open from 3 because it will be raining all game.

Morrow is a better player and would be a better fit... Foye was a good player for the clippers but I don't think either would be the right fit for where the Clippers are headed and what we're trying to accomplish.. Foyes a streaky shooter and Morrow isn't ready to make big plays in the playoffs and stick top SG's in the League..... I feel Ray Allen OJ Mayo even Josh Smith would be a better choice..

Yes I said Josh Smith(who could be on the way out of Atlanta) and could be our SF/PF..! And have NY start at SG then Caron could cone off the bench

So nobody is mentioning that foye is not even under contract with us? I'd take morrow over Foye but how can we trade somebody that we don't even have?

if all we would be getting is a knockdown shooter in morrow, might as well sign novak. they both dont play defense, except novak is a better shooter. @inventor, oj mayo (overrated), allen could be ok, dont know how much he would try to get in money, but idk why u even brought up josh smith. he could only be had by trade, but i think the asking price might be too high if u ask me.

@bullterrierclipsfan1349 I bring up Josh smith because there are rumors he wants out.. Plus the team hasnt gotten past the second round and need a change. If Bledsoe is as good as ppl think he is that night be a good trade.. Jeff Teague could move to the 2... We need a big man who can knock down

jumpers and we need a big wingman Josh Smith is both.! But just an idea.! I'm no GM

Josh Smith is a tremendous waste of talent. The Hawks crowd screams "NOOOOO" when he tries to shoot jumpers, yet he still shoots them without blinking as if he's Steve Novak. He makes plays in transition and on D, so his athletic ability is tempting.........but at the end of the day.........he's an idiot, and if he plays a major role for any team that he's on.........they won't win a title.

he can't knock down jumpers on a consistent basis. he's basically the opposite of what we need.

how about pull a 3 team trade to swing andre iguadala, josh smith is better suited for the 76ers, so lets trade bledsoe , caron butler and mo williams to the hawks, Clippers get iguadala, and marvin williams, 76ers get josh smith

Ill bet the team we had this year will be really close to the team we get next year,,,,it just feels as though the CLips will take the easy road and just sign what we have.

I would not get foye or morrow. We need a good shooter who can drive to open up the lanes, what do you guys think of Eric Gordon? He says he wants to explore his options! Plus he's top third FA this year!

He got injured because he was the only one that could drive and score for his team. Jack didn't bloom until after the injury. And he is only 3 mil. If we get rid of Mo and Gomes we can clear space for additions. I don't even think we are resigning foye. Foye is more expensive and isn't half as good as Gordon. Ridding foye and getting Gordon would give us 1 mil plus! Eric=3 mil Foye = 4 mil I don't think he'll get injured with guys like cp3, bg, and ebled to do some of the scoring.

Not sure we're talking about the same Eric Gordon...is this the same EG that's on the Hornets who's a RFA, LOL.

Morrow would be great. As always health is a concern but Morrow is lights out and he is the type of shooter we have lacked for so long. The Closest we have had of late has been Rasual Butler and no one it seemed liked him except me haha

And I like Morrow because he can play the 2 or 3...Randy Foye plays both too but he is tooo undersized for both

Foye was a 1/2 that played his way out of being a 1. Now he's just a reserve 2 that only performs well when he gets starters minutes...........and his best just isn't good enough to take this team to the next level.
