Not a choice that wows...yet, I kinda like it. He's known to have been a good defender.

idk, if we can get him for gomes id do that trade. then we can hopefully acquire jamal crawford. personally i think jared dudley could be a good alternative, but idk if the suns would deal him. but if we did that, wouldnt we still be too guard oriented?

As mo changes his pic to him in an Atl hat and posts a sad tweet???

Let the rumor mill swirl...

I'm not sure about this- just don't think he'd be much of a difference maker. His shooting % is horrible for this season thus far.

i hope this is not a precursor to a trade of mo for hinrich. that would be one of the dumbest trades in a while. unless its mo for josh smith lol wink

mayo and marresse speights for mo would be a trade id do in a heartbeat. since randolph is coming back from injury in 2 weeks, maybe they would part with speights.

I doubt Mo is involved in any trade discussion with ATL.

Maybe Clips offered Foye and Gomes.

Hawks could probably get something better than our trash for him... and I wouldn't want to part with anything more than our trash to get him.

like i said only trade i would involve mo in when dealing with atlanta is a trade for josh smith lol. gomes and a 2nd rd pick for hinrich is a good trade for us. but like cleepers said, i doubt atlanta does that trade.

Ryan Gomes is 'secure' in his situation for another year because he's sucked so badly that nobody will take him, whereas Mo (who has been in 'all-star' and '6.M.O.T.Y' conversations) is looking over his shoulder wondering where he might be traded.

Stranger than fiction.

No way Mo is involved in this trade. The only reason the team would be looking at Hinrich -- as opposed to Crawford or Allen -- is because they think they can get him without giving up anything significant. Hinrich for Mo would be a sideways move, at best. Olshey is smarter than that . . . I think.

Yeah I agree, but there's no saying Mo isn't on the block. He's definitely the first guy that other GM's are asking about.

i never really liked hinrichs game. i hope we look for something else. id take crawford over hinrich anyday but obviously a trade for crawford we would have to use someone like bledsoe.

I don't think this is a rumor. When Berger uses "perhaps filling the gaping two-guard hole on the Clippers" it means he's speculating, and not a rumor at all.

Kirk Hinrich is my favorite player in the entire NBA. Captain Kirk they called him on Chicago and Rightfully so. The Man was the team leader of the "Baby Bulls" and led them to the playoffs all but two years in his tenure with them. Hinrich is a Team leader, a Great defender, Great 3 point shooter and overall a Great role player to have on any team. He'd do nothing but make the team better, that's for sure. at 6'4 190, he's a bit undersized at the 2 guard spot, but i'd take him in a heartbeat though i may be a little bit biased. Fingers Crossed!!

Imma miss my dawg. I can't believe it's over for him. We came in this thing together. Love u bro

Yeah, I think david has it right. Has nothing to do with him potentially being traded.

I dont see this team improving if they get Hinrich Stats dont just go down like that. I never seen Ray Allen go down in Stats other than for Mother Time. I would only give up Gomes or Cook for Hinrich and thats it. Otherwise it is a waste of a move.

I hope the Clips don't do something stupid just to say we made a trade. Thinking cap , Neil, before you trade away the one for sure scorer off of our bench.

We don't make a move, we don't go far in the playoffs. We don't go far in the playoffs and contend for a championship, Blake and CP3 will bolt.

With the current roster, a better coach would get more out of it. Hopefully next year, we'll get a better coach.

With that said, we gotta add another SG and SF.

I know everyone want to trade our only good asset in Eric Bledsoe, but is it really worth it to trade our only young piece for a rental that could only take us Western Conference Final. I think we should hold on and get someone better in the offseason.

Hinrich is relatively underwhelming when compared to other pieces the Clippers have been linked to, doesn't get my blood going at all especially since his best years seem to be well behind him.

No, I still like him. Sure, his production is WAY down this year. But he's only started 5 games and there's probably something else going on. Last year he only scored 10.2 points a game, but shot about 45% from the field, 40% from the three point line. He's a good passer and instantly helped improve the Hawks defense when he joined them. He's also a leader and has a toughness I really like. Not a bad choice, I tell ya'.

I stilll am in the camp of getting a YOUNG,23, beasley for some draft picks if that is posible. maybe he can be the LIN on our team, i'd want a younger project now rather than hinrich.

^I'm with you. We need that offensive fire power off the bench. But we don't have anything they would want.

Lakers have the TPE from Odom to absorb his salary.

Our TPE is not enough, even if we combined both.

We would have to trade players and I think the only one with the salary that would match would be Mo.

I'd take Beasley and Ellington for Mo but that won't happen.

Beasley is awful you guys kidding me? Kevin Love when asked why the T-Wolves offense moved better when Beasley wasn't playing literally said, cuz Mikes not here. He's a team killer plain and simple. T-Wolves are doing so much better without him there, Miami hated him so much they gave him away for a 2nd rounder. Hell, they even tried to trade the draft pick before the draft even began! Kid has massive character issues and it's not like were the place to be to turn that around. He wants to go somewhere to show he's a grown up, the PERFECT place is Utah. To be a douche and play in Utah, succeed and show your a team player, is massively respected in this league because of the reputation they built there throughout the years.

You wanna be a ballhoggin SOB, play for the Lakers.

could we trade gomes and a tpe for ersan ilyasova? that kid is balling. i know we like reggie's hustle, but he brings that hustle in addition to having an offensive game.

Mo for Hinrich would be a disgraceful trade.

If we get Hinrich for anything more than cook, gomes or bledsoe I am going to be mad.

Look at what Mo Williams did today. That is the type of stuff we can always expect for him. Now imagining getting rid of his contributions?

We must keep Bledsoe. Bledsoe is too valuable to trade than for Hinrich.

The key is adding depth not replacing. Obviously Mo went nuts tonight but he won't be on fire like this every night. Thats when we need other options.

mo for hinrich never in a million zillion years, hinrich is a broken player, when was the last time he played, if we are even given this guy a second of thought...

I'd say go after Josh Smith. What the hell, give them DeAndre, Bledose and Mo and take back Hinrich, Smith and whatever trash center they have!

You have to consider that we can get 2 Players for the salary of Mo e.g. Kirk & Jamal - thus this might be a good option and we need depth!

Yeah, even I would trade Mo for Kirk. But I'm not as attached to EB as most of y'all. I mean, how long are we going to keep a young talent we're not using? We are deep in the PG position and it's almost selfish to keep a guy like EB down when he can blossom somewhere else. If we can get someone better than Kirk for just EB, then cool. Otherwise, EB might be a nice fit for the Hawks and a rejuvinated Kirk would be really nice for us.

Just sayin'.

If I were a GM I would do everything to get a legitimate SG, who can actually play and be reliable. I would downgrade center to get a SG and that could mean sending DeAndre to Houston along with Gomes for Kevin Martin and Jordan Hill! To be honest Hill won't be that much of a downgrade anyways since he posts similar if not better numbers than DeAndre lately.

OK guys, this is NOT A TRADE RUMOR!!!! This is an example of another blog being written with a title that says "Trade Rumor" when in fact there isn't one, at least not as far as the Clippers are concerned. This is purely idle speculation. This is what the article says. There is a rumor that the Hawks possibly might want to move Hinrich. No unnamed sources for that rumor are even mentionted. The he mentions that the Clippers seem to be looking for a 2 guard. Therefore, we have a trade rumor of Hinrich going to the Clips? Wrong. It does not mention that the Hawks and the Clips have spoken to each other about a trade. It does not mention "unnamed sources" linking the Clippers or the Hawks as having any interest in anything that the other team has. In fact, there isn't an article anywhwere that even refers to any interest or conversations between the Clippers and the Hawks. Not one. If anybody can find one, post it here. I can't fine one.

Now that I said everything above, watch the Clippers trade for Hinrich. There is still 5 days until the trading deadline and anything is possible.
