Love it. Love Petros repping us... and love Nick's attitude. I'm EXTREMELY excited about Nick.

LMAO! Nick Young is awesome. He's laughing at himself and the rest of the Wizards.... and all the bonehead NOT top 10 plays like McGee running the wrong way.

I'm pumped but at the same time extremely sad knowing he's probably going to leave us for big bucks over the summer. There's a few guys over the year's we've acquired late in the season that I wish we'd kept, and all of them are in recent years.

Steve Blake, Drew Gooden and Travis Outlaw.

OUTLAW???

He's a close #2 on my sh*t list to Ricky Davis!

F**king bum, plain and simple.

^^Honestly think the only way Young leaves us is if the Lakers make him a great offer. He wants to be in Los Angeles.

He told Washington he would only accept a trade to two teams. One of them being the Clippers. He seems genuinely excited and happy. I'm willing to bet this guy takes a couple mill pay cut to stay given that. Unless he's REALLY stupid and everything he's said was all fake. I doubt he leaves us and takes 8 mill instead of 6.5 a year for example. He LOVES LA and Lakers have no shot at affording him.

^ Let's just see how he fits in. If he spreads defenses the way we hope he will and gives us room for BG's beastliness and CP3's penetration, the team will be better, and EVERYONE will make sacrifices to be on a great team.

Well yea. What I'm saying is based on the assumption of him working out. Obviously if he's a bad fit we let him walk and have 10+ mill in cap before re-signing K-Mart, Evans and Foye. That cap room = Ray Allen or another good SG.

Outlaw is just a personal fav of mine for years now, and I think he wasn't used enough in Portland. He may be selfish and have a poor attitude but w/e, he's an all around type guy.

Why would the Lakers even consider signing Nick Young, someone explain it to me? 1 - He'd have to play the 3 full time which he isn't capable of doing. 2 - he'd probably clash with Kobe in the locker room, 3 - I don't think he'd take kindly to coming off the bench in Laker Land watching Kobe single handily ruin the Lakers chances of going anywhere for the next 3-6 years that Kobe plays for them before retiring.

Young is a selfish player, talented but selfish. He probably wanted to get traded here or Denver if that is the other team he wanted to be traded to because 1 were a giant market and 2 were a playoff team. I hope he works out well ( cuz he's on my fantasy team ) and he believes we can win and takes a pay cut to play here.

We have to be realistic though, Young hasn't been and isn't noted as a team player, he's in a contract year and the next contract he signs could determine his future. He's not old, but a deal of 3-5 years would put him in his "prime" when his deal is up. Getting offered large money to play for a crap team to boast big scoring numbers could net him a big deal when his up and coming 3-5 year deal is done.

Young will never make the HOF, nor an All-Star game. He's in it for himself and for the money. If he says/does otherwise I'd be happy. I'd love for him to remain a Clipper and not hurt our salary cap in the long run, while adding young talent and years to play with Blake and hopefully CP3 for the next half+ decade.

Kid could become a star in this lineup. When you think that we have 1, 3, 4 & 5 locked up for next year, plus guys who are excited to be/come here... the future is very bright.

Yea Young will thrive in my opinion. I agree it's important to get an entire core locked up. If Young gets extension all we need is Butler to be secure for 5+ years.

^ Oh, I don't think we want to hang on to Caron that long. We already have him for 2 years beyond this year. If next year doesn't go well, DTS will hand the entire show to CP3 just to keep him. If Noodles works out, Olshey's next mission will be to target a Young SF for our future.

Griffin, Young, Paul, DJ and Bledsoe... If we can hang on to those five for multiple years and we have Caron for the next two, we will be in good shape... The rest of the players can be nice finds who make relatively little, like Martin, Evans, Foye and a few guys on rookie contracts.
