If you all take a look at the remaining games we have on our schedule ( OKC, Denver, NO, Atlanta, NYK, PHX ) and the Lakers last 6 games ( SA twice, Dallas, Sac-Town, OKC and @ GS ) we have a good chance to win 4 of the last 6 and the Lakers have a good chance to lose 3 games, which would put us at a tie ( Lakers own tie breaker I believe ).

We should chalk up New Orleans as a W for us and Sacramento as a W for the Lakers, meaning we'd need to win 2 more games than the Lakers to finish the season to take the division. San Antonio and OKC may be battling it out to see who gets the #1 seed and may very well bring everything they have against Us and the Lakers, providing tough competition.

We need to finish winning 4 of these last 6 and hope the Spurs, Thunder and Warriors can give the Lakers fits and we can sneak in front of them right at the end.

We would end up playing, more than likely the Mavericks in round 1, a team I think we can beat ( Unless Houston or Denver really turns it on ) in a series I fully believe we can win in 6 games or less.

Regardless of what happens, let's just finish the season strong and not press our luck, fact is I'm excited that were 1 win away from getting a playoff berth that is long overdue.

The Nuggets should be ashamed of themselves letting a bum like Matt Barnes even get double digit points but what it seemingly was a season high against them.

I hope the Mavs win tomorrow and I think they will. Of course if the Mavs can keep another bum from scoring their season high. If someone like Devon Ebanks scores like 30 then it wont look good haha

If we're playing good basketball going into the playoffs, I really don't mind who we play. Frankly I'm tired of all the praise the Grizzlies have been getting lately, bring 'em on.

agreed. lets just get the playoffs started. bring on okc...spurs...the fakers...memphis...any one. we play 48 min of great D and we can compete with the best of them. CP3 is a different animal come playoff time. let teams worry bout us instead of us worrying bout them

Not NO chance, but slim and getting slimmer. Only way I see it happening is if we sweep the rest of the season and they go 4-2.

With Kobe maybe sitting out until the playoffs starts, we have a chance but it doesn't look like Lakers are missing Kobe out their.

If CP keeps closing for us in the playoffs as he has all year, it doesn't really matter who we play. On the road or at home, if the ball is in his hands. We got a fighting chance.

they still got the 2 times with the spurs, okc and the mavs. i know the spurs wont play the way they played last week against the flakers. the flake show has no chance vs okc and the mavs are going to be playing all out since they are in danger of missing the playoffs. i think they beat the warriors, but it might be complicated without kobe since he has bailed them out the 3 times they beat the warriors. the kings always pose problems for the flakers in sactown. i think we finish with 42 wins and the flakers finish with 40.

only way we catch Lakers is if Kobe comes back.he shoots them out of games.they are a better team without him.when he comes back, there is no way he will play second fiddle to Bynum.this will create problems for them.they have gone 4-1 since he went out.they've beaten the Spurs at SA and Denver.i'd rather play them with Kobe ballhogging then to see them go inside all day long.

I think the Hornets, now that EJ's been back for a while, may give the Grizz a good game.

we're 2 wins away from clinching a playoff berth, and 6 away from clinching 4th seed. we got this. I really do think we can win these last 6 games

Lakers are still in our sights and Mike Brown & the Lakers have to realize that. Would you rather play Dallas or someone lesser in round 1 or the Grizzlies who could very well make it to the Conference Finals. Grizzlies are incredibly tough and would give the Lakers big men extreme fits, and Tony Allen would really irritate Kobe.

Winning the division would be great but I'd prefer to just make it to the playoffs and get past round 1. Would show massive improvement in our team and would probably help CP3 and Blake sign extensions with greater confidence.

Where it is a possibility that we could finish with 42 wins and win the Pacific Division for the 1st time...ever, it's highly unlikely, particularly when we are going on the road and facing teams still in contention needing to make the PO's. I think we finish the season at the seeding we are now.

Totally agree with this. It's likely there'll be some diva catfights on that team when he comes back.

They're not mistakes if it happens every game. Ref favoritism for the lakers is league policy.

Nice choke job by Terry/Dirk today. They should have won the game despite playing 5 on 8 today.

And yes, why does Sessions feel he can shoot over Dirk, but Dirk's too scared to shoot over Sessions?

Crazy how nobody seems to want to help us out, including the officials. That no call on the Barnes offensive interference was pretty atrocious. Convenient too how that's not a reviewable call. Can't believe we have to keep winning every game just keep up with these F-ers.

^^^ And that Terry blown lay-up, WTF? Sure Barnes was near him, but still not that close. Just take the ball up like a man and if gets blocked, it gets blocked. Instead he put up the softest lay-up I've seen in a while. Terrible.

I'm happy with either of those guys ball-hogging. Today, Bynum 23 points on 24 shots, I'd take that.

I wish Terry had shot a jumper in the lane instead. I swear, I hardly ever see a game tying/winning layup...unless your name is Chris Paul, of course.

^ I thought they'd changed their name to the Memphis Darlings this year.

I'm sick of hearing everyone gush about them. I don't even care about seeding... I just want to see them lose a game like this to hear the 'beep, beep, beep' of all these analysts backing up their tongues from Memphis' arse!
