Thank You exactly I think it shows how little VDN has taught our players since he's been here. All the plays Javalle scored on last night are the type that DJ scores on the only differense is that Andre Miller actually throws him those lobs(Yeah I dont think CP3 gets the ball to DJ down low enough<maybe that's cause he drops more then he should though)

Great W for Denver, McGee was out of control!

And Bynum, LOL! What a tool. If you're going to make stupid comments about how easy it is to close out in the playoffs, at least put out an individual performance that shows how easy it is... what an immature prick.

Just goes to show, like I said during the regular season match up, I fear the Lakers least of all playoff teams. Bynum is over rated and no one calls him out, they just lump him in the 2nd best center in the league. He takes games off, and can't hold his s' together for an entire seven game series (dude seriously has ADHD or something). Yet, Blake who never takes a play off yet an entire game gets called out for being over rated. I just don't get people's perceptions.

^ agreed. hes solid but hes not the second coming of dwight howard or shaq. im sure if bynum left the flakers he would end up becoming a decent center, but he would struggle without the reffing bias he currently gets with the flakers.

Ah man it feels great to be right about the Lakers after beating on em allll season. They are proving me right, I said they would barely beat the Nuggets and struggle and going to a game 7 against the Nuggets is great vindication. It is great to watch haha

Bynum proving me right too...he is ******* horrible.

Matt Barnes? HAha dont getm e started on Matt Barnes...

The Lakers are playing with fire letting this go to 7 games lets hope the refs dont ruin what could be a classic game

Wow now that's a good ol' butt whopping. Good for Denver, but somehow Kobe will figure out to win game 7. Did anyone see Pau's state line, omg 3 pts 3 rebs will people call him over-rated

as long as we're speaking hypothetically on other centers... i'd love Omer Asik. Dude is already a very good defensive center and plays with a lot of heart.

This is embarrassing. The Spurs are turning the ball over against OKC. They've missed some open 3's. And Tim Duncan has missed jumpshots and layups he was making against us. I'll admit OKC is playing good defense, but what the heck?

OKC just kept running out on the shooters, played passing lanes, and got deflections leading to transition buckets.

They couldn't keep it up in the 4th, and went on a scoring drought. OKC was shooting jumper while San Antonio found ways to get inside and hit big outside shots. San Antonio shifted into another gear after Pops challenged them...something to the effect of... "We need to get NASTY!"... LOL!

Yeah, but they missed more FT's than normal and Duncan was not sharp at all. I'm just saying they better play as well against OKC as they played against us.

When it's all said and done, they still won tonight.

I really am shocked how good the Spurs are defensively. I mean, they don't push their opponents around, or even get all that physical, like the Grizzlies, but what they do is very effective. And like their offense, they make their defense look smooth and easy. I can't say they force a lot of turnovers, but they do seem to shut down players when necessary.

Maybe we could learn a thing or two from the Spurs both regarding both sides of the court. It begins with the coaching staff.

Well, I don't know what's wrong with Duncan all of a sudden. It's not like OKC is playing that much better defense against him than we did. But whatever....the Spurs are still kicking butt. And, if anything, I think we looked more competitive than OKC right now. I have a feeling OKC will win at least one game, but only because the Spurs might get complacent in one game and lose a little focus. But not necessarily because OKC played better against SA than we did.

Heck, if Blake and Chris had been 100% healthy, our series would have been so much more interesting.

I think Ekker started a thread like this last season and I found it pretty interesting. With the playoff seeding race really tightening up, I've started to play pretty close attention to what the other top teams in the West are doing. The idea of this thread is to identify the games on any given night and discuss the results of those games that will be most beneficial to the Clippers. There's a few notable games tognight:

DEN @ CHI

GS @ NO

MIN @ MEM

LAL @ PHO

NY @ UTAH

So, for the purposes of keeping our current playoff spot, we'll want the Bulls and T-Wolves to pull out wins tonight (both longshots, IMO, unfortunately). For the purposes of keeping the Lakers out of the playoffs, for those concerned with that, go Suns and Jazz.

damn, I forgot about this thread. I started it. BUt yea again it is relevant with such tightness between the seedings. Since we are in the 3 spot, our goal is to just keep winning and hope Denver and Memphis lose.

Officially I'm rooting for ANY team playing against SAS, OKC, DEN, and MEM. If they play each other, I'm rooting for the one with the lower seeding. I'm also rooting for any team playing against the Fakers but that's personal not business.

Chigago were robbed. The refs made 2 wrong calls in OT both concerning tip in's being in or out of the cylinder and both went Denver's way. Both were wrong from what I could see. Thibs was livid..........can't blame him really.

Denver @ OKC tonight. Sadly, I don't think we have much chance of catching OKC for the 2 seed, so I'm going to be rooting for the Thunder in this one. The Nuggets need to get slowed down a bit.

Anybody playing against OKC, Memphis, and Denver... Even if the Lakers play any of them. I want the Lakers to make the playoffs just for the possibility of a playoff series.

And since I live in Denver, a part of me wants the Clippers to fall to 4th seed and the Nuggets stay at #5... I never been to a playoff game before.

Priority of who I want to lose:

1. Denver and Memphis

3. Lakers

4. Spurs/okc

Priority of who I want to win:

1. The Best team in LA!!! LAC!

2. Anyone playing against Denver, Memphis, lakers, okc, spurs

3. Houston

4. Utah

We have the division locked up and our magic number is 5 to clinch the division. We can start rooting for the Warriors now (and the Rockets) so the Fakers will stay away from the 6th seed.

^ Yeah, we suck beating a team by 30, but Denver are really scary because they can be down 2 to the same team on the arse-end of a back-to-back and draw a foul on a hail mary!

^ Hey don't forget we almost beat Memphis by 30 not too long ago, without CP3 I may add! Seems like some of these so called fans tend to have selective memory saying we suck we suck we suck we suck etc. when we have proven to be a threat, we beat the Spurs twice, we beat the Heat, we are 3-0 vs the Fakers, and we are sitting in 3rd/4th place right now! And yup, Denver didn't win last night, Sixers just choked, they choked really bad, lol.

I made a thread about this last year I believe and not sure how to bring it up....basically as we get closer to the playoffs it is good to talk about other games going that can help us for position.

tonight lets go Magic!

Feel free to merge if this is existing.
