Damn, Portland, GS, Memphis, Dallas, Phoenix... Great race for playoffs.

Even though Portland, GS are 1-2 games ahead, all teams have around the same % in making playoffs. All of them got games with one another.

Rooting for Phoenix and Dallas to make it.

Great that the Thunder loss. If only the stupid Craptors didn't choke that game.

If we beat them they would only need to lose to 1 more team to catch them....

looking at the rest of the season, its possible the clippers only lose 1 or 2 more.... we could get our 60 game season still

Karma is a beeotch! I wouldn't be surprised in Houston fell off. No defense will be played except for Howard. A win tomorrow is almost guaranteed ....

Rumor is Howard's ankle caused him some issues last night, so he may be out as well...

agree. You never know, jordan Hamilton might pull a career night against us. He definitely likes scoring against us even when he was in Denver.

Rooting for the warriors to beat Memphis tonight. Makes me feel dirty, but I want them roughing up one of the top-2 teams instead of us for a change.

Not really surprised that Suckremento aren't putting up a fight against OKC, but I expected more from Chicago at home against Portland.

Meaningful game for Memphis, so they take out Bogus with a knee in the 1st Q.

How will the preacher counter? ...A Speights elbow to break Gasol's nose? ...Draymond Green shove his fist up Conley's arse?

Dirty meets dirty. I hope they f*cking kill each other!

Man, this game between the Warriors and the Grizzlies have been close all game long. I don't want to root for any of them, lol, but I don't want the Clips to see dirty Memphis in the playoffs.

We need a 16 seed playoff system. Under .500 teams should not be making the playoffs.

It is safe to say we are rooting for anyone who plays Indiana or Miami from now on.

Clippers and Pacers with identical record, though Indy holds tie breaker.

Miami one game back (tied in the lost column).

Do any of you guys think the Spurs are even better than last season? Duncan and Parker are not as good as last season but they have guys like Patty Mills, Kawhi, Bellinelli making huge contributions. They are a ridiculously deep team.

They are also killing teams left and right right now.

I never take the spurs serious, every year everyone talks about how they are overlooked. They haven't won a tittle in seven years! In the past 7 years they SHOULD have won it at least 3 times when they are on a roll and look unstoppable and then they pull a san antonio.

Until they prove me wrong, which is possible I won't pick them. They are teams you don't pick against, well the spurs are a team you don't pick.

Past 6 year winners: Heat, Lakers, Celtics, Mavs.

So are you telling me you're taking the Lakers, Celtics, and Mavs very seriously right now?

By your logic, only these 4 teams deserve to be picked to win championship.

I think you misunderstood my point.

The Spurs are on a regular season run that may be unmatched in sports. REGULAR season. They have 15 ( I think) season of at least 50 wins, only broken up by the 99 shortened season if not it would be 17-18 and it is 18 out of 19 or 19 out of 20 only broken up by the year Robinson was out.

They are a class franchise top to bottom.

I have always thought they have underachieved in the playoffs. They have lost a lot of times to inferior teams and have lost close series with evenly matched teams when they "had it"

Every year you hear "the spurs don't get attention" "they are being overlooked" etc. I would always think they had a chance to win it, now I don't I just think they end up choking it away somehow.

examples:

2006-one seed, fall 3-1 to the mavs, they came back and had it in game 7 against the mavs and choked it away by fouling nowitzki and giving them the tying 3 point play.

2011-one seed, lost to the inferior memphis (8th seed) grizzlies.

2012-one seed, had won something like 20 in a row including playoffs, won the first two against OKC, lose the next 4.

2013- needed game one miracle to avoid falling 0-2 at home to GSW then come back and choke in the finals.

If Houston loses to Brooklyn, I almost feel like we should dump the Phoenix game just to f*ck with Memphis.

I would love to have the Griz face the Spurs or Thunder so I wouldn't do that. The Griz will make it hard for those two teams.

^ I agree... but for now they're still just a little too close to #6 for my liking.

Let 'em squeak into #8 at the last minute. Outside of our bracket until WCF, then I'd gladly face them for the conference title.

Who has the H2H advantage? The Warriors or Griz? If its the Warriors then they have a 2 game lead(with barely any games left). I wouldn't be too worried. I think both teams are comparable though the Griz

are dirtier but the Warriors are a dirty team too.

^ I think the dirty bears hold the tie over the dirty dubs, but I'm still thinking (hoping) Portland will drop. Hopefully we don't. It's one thing to win a game without Blake, but we need to keep it up.

^ portland has a pretty easy schedule though compared to everyone below them. as much as we would all love it, i don't think portland is dropping. 6 of their last 8 games are at home.

^ Yeah... Kinda ironic that we might have to beat Portland in our last game just to get to face them in the playoffs.

I guess we'll see. It would just be a really nice 1st round matchup, but I'm not really sweating any of the other teams. I just want us to be healthy against the big fish.

We really don't. We now have 5 of our last 7 at home, with the last game of the season @POR possibly being a meaningless game for us. We actually have one of the easiest schedules remaining.

It would be nice to finish with a better record than Miami and Indiana to secure home court in the Finals. Hell, the West is so loaded we might end up with home court throughout the entire playoffs.

we did before we went on the road trip, but i think we did pretty good with all the injuries. its pretty easy from here on out except for maybe okc and dallas

OKC has three more back to backs and the first one has them home vs SAS then @Hou. Then we have them home on the second night of a back to back. After they have @Indy followed by @NOP. That game against them could be very telling if we get the tie breaker. I think their record in this next back to back could be the deciding factor if we could sneak into that 2nd spot.

If we sneak into that 2nd spot, we could get Dallas in the first round. I know every team in the west is a tough match up, and that we have stolen wins from Dallas on a few occasions but that is probably the easiest team out of the lot. Unless we could ask to be the 1st seed in the East.

Go Mavs tonight and Spurs tomorrow! They can possibly drop GS in 9th.

But if you don't even consider them as one of the favorite, who else can you really consider?

It doesn't matter they had some unsuccessful runs in the playoffs. There's still barely any other teams more accomplished than them past 7 years.

The West conference is no joke, every team is a tough out. I highly doubt the Heat would even make it to the finals all 3 times if they played in the West.

We would probably have to lose to Suns for that to happen. Dallas could move up to 6 and we play them. Dallas still scares me , but I believe they would be the ideal matchup. This....

They are ONE of the favorites, even consider by most THE favorites, but what I'm saying they have been THE favorites a lot and come up short. They can certaintly prove me wrong this year but I have no faith in them and I would rather anyone but the heat to win.

More like Curry is just that clutch.

Also, I'm not sure if Jermaine O'Neal committed goal-tending or not.

After seeing how they choked against the Clippers three times, you honestly didn't expect them to be able to close against the Warriors, did you?
