| The Clippers will look to avenge their 86-74 loss at the hands of the Hawks at Staples two months ago. But it's going to be difficult, especially considering that Atlanta is battling for a playoff spot. It'll also be an interesting game as we'll likely see new Clipper Smush Parker in action. And hey, EB should be ready- but it's doubtful that Dunleavy will let him play. Go Clips! |

| It's going to be challenging and really interesting to see Smush Parker play some ball for the Clips. Good luck and Go Clippers! |

um down by 13........so much for the sweep
Dumbleavy needs to shut up and let the players play. All I hear is his barking.
I vowing they lose so we can increase our chances for the Michael Beasley sweepstakes
Did say by 6......i think it is looking more like 16
No matter who Bibby plays for, he just kills us |

That was some porous defense by the guys. When you have guys like Brand and Kaman manning the middle they can erase a lot of mistakes on D. But we didn't have those two guys and this was what happened. I did like how the guys were sharing the ball more than lately.
Smush played fine- he got a couple of steals and ran the offense decently, though he did take one or two ill-advised jumpshots. But yeah that was interesting how he got a T in the first minute he played! |

| I hate to mention it but... as I was watching the Orlando game, the commentators made some reference to Kaman's having said something about "guys not looking to pass and just looking for their numbers". I was surprised as I hadn't heard any such talk, but of course I don't hear everything that's said in the locker room. Skip ahead to the third quarter of the Hawks game where, unless I missed something, Corey shot or tried to shoot every single time he touched the ball except once when he passed on a fast break. Assuming the announcers had the quote correctly, you think that's the attitude Kaman was referring to? If the quote was accurate, it's too bad because that's obviously no way to play. I hope it's not the case, but if Corey did look to pass that quarter, I didn't see it. 'Course Al did almost the same thing in the fourth quarter the next eight or nine times he got the ball, but we were going to him, and to his credit, he did pass a few times. Plus we all know that Al gets a little... uh, single minded sometimes when he looks to make a move. HE gets some slack though because he was playing in front of extended family and friends for the first time in his home state. And he's a rook. I'm having trouble giving Corey the same leeway. One other thing... knowing that Al WAS playing for the first time in his home state, couldn't Dunleavy have seen fit to give him more than 28 minutes? He didn't get in until the second quarter... seems like Coach could've at least stayed with his normal three or four minutes left in the first. I'm sure there's a good reason, just struck me as odd, considering. |
