any season ticket holders here? The deadline to renew is 4/4.

I was wondering what the price increase was for your section and if you will be renewing.

mine are in section 307 and price increased from $12 a game to $20 a game and I'm still undecided about renewing.

Ive been a sth for 4 years now and i wont be renewing this year. My seats in 206 went from 2600 for two seats to 3900. I could afford it, but honestly a little loyalty woulda been nice. I'll gladly watch the games from home!

I'm in section 313 and mine went from $18 to $25 which is a 40% increase---much higher than the 15% they were talking about when it was first announced. I've already renewed but I'm not happy about the increase going that high.

Section 105 went from $95.00 each to $105.00 each, a 10.5% increase. Not bad at all and worth it.

Section 116 went from $70.00 each to $80.00 each, a 12.5% increase. Not bad but not worth it.

some of those prices are absurd. maybe if enough STHs hold off on renewing and tell their rep its too much, they'll have no choice but to lower the cost.

imo, i head out to clipper games a handful of times a year (some tickets i purchase, others i get the hook up). but for the most part, unless the seats are 5 or less rows away, id rather catch it on HD at home and listen to ralph/mike. i miss too much critical info/stuff when im at the game. (sidenote: i never understood the long-time claim by fans in every sport that think they have some sort of a more credible perspective because "they were at the game". it doesnt make sense - they dont get the detailed view that those watching on tv do.)

so im probably gonna do a mini-game plan for next season and still get the perk of first dibs for playoff seats.

THat explains a lot to me.

I was a STH for a while but bailed when the new great player we got in the off seaosn was Gomes,,,personal protest. But I spend so much goingt o games anyhow my wife decided we will go back,,so we plunked down money (a grand) as a deposit for next year. They told me there are actully no ST for sale as they are all sold,,but the rep told me that without a doubt there will be seats in the 100s or 200s next year (I signed a contract for those). Thye said I will have a chance to pick my seats by the end of June and if not the money is refunded,,well makes a lot of sense.

They are counting on STH as yourself to bail when they see the new prices, and they are counting on those of us with contracts to backfill. Also, if there are seats but we dont want thee they keep our money forever, until there are seats we want.

NOTICE TO ANYONE: I actually want to do a split season with someone so if any STH in the 100 or 200s are reading this and are planing on bailing,,if you want to stick with your seats I am available as a partner,,maybe.

I may be looking for a split season partner !!!!!!

I think what happens is you get every other game,,the first game goes to whomever has more seniority then every other. Full benefits and playoff seats.

I was a STH for the 06-07 season but bailed as I started a family. I miss it but not at 40 games a year. Can't wait for my kids to get older so I can take em to cheer for the Clips.

I was a season ticket holder till 2007. Losing to the Sacremento and not making the Playoff becasue of it. Especially when the prior season we were in the WCF semifianls. I was so aggravated that I decided to cancel after 7 straight seasons. Also I believe in top coaches. Having Mike Dumbleavy and Vinny have made me wait until they hire the right coach. That really tells me most of the time wether we will endure another losing season.

If a coaching change is made in the off season and they hire the right coach. I will highly consider buying tickets as a season ticket holder again.

Currently I go to about 5 games a season since 2008.

Hopefully that changes will be made and I will resign as season ticket holder.

its actually more time like a draft, you take turns picking what games you want. But i think they make you split the big games

I am like you Sam and I look to go about 5 games a year and really only want to sit at suite level or below if possible. The occasional free ticket is always nice( had 2 last year).

Naw,,it's the way I said. It used to be the way you said because I did do that one year. Back then if you split a season you owned one seat for all the games and the other person the same. Then you went online and did your draft (we emield prior to the draft and we decided who would pick what as far as big games). It made work for the FO because they would have to get your tix and they would divide them manually and send them out,,,and I guess they got too lazy for that so what I described is the new and better system.

I saw at the game last night a lot of seats with paperwork attached,,I wonde rif that was reneals for the fans that havn't yet. I was looking at what seats could be avaiable if they don't,,some pretty good seats.

Seems like we were told two different things lol. I came pretty close to splitting my seats for this season and they explained it to me the way i had said. Im gonna ask my st rep just to verify. The rep i got this year was new so its possible he was wrong

Jamie Lee is a pretty good rep, she was mine. She got me lots of perks when I was there. Auto alley, court side seats, ball presentation at tip off.

She is good. When i was a STH before she got me all those perks too (and she wasn't even my rep) and I got to go to autograph alley 3 times in a season.

My new rep is Alexandra Novak and she is not new and has been around a while and she was he one that explained to me the new way of split season. I jsut hope it is fari with respect to one person not getting all the huge games and the other one gets all the duds.

Here I am. I will go anywhere in the 200s but can really only afford baseline seats in the 100s. Where do you sit?

Dude,,if you want to split,,you have a partner with me.

We can stay where you are (I love aisle seats)or move to cheap 100s. I just want to make sure we both get dibs at playoffs seats too and if we both get to keep our accounts. IF I stay in the 200s I can go to my half,,if I move lower I would have to probably sell half my half. Since Alex is both of ours,,she should be ale to do whatever we need.

Hey,,if you decide to move instead to a better location and vacate those and buy an entire season,,tell Alex one of her's wants your seats,,that would be me of course.

For those of us that don't live within reasonable driving distance of the Staples Center, I'm sure we'd all love to split season ticket packages with people if we could make it to a bunch of games without missing work etc haha. I just can't believe how large teh ticket prices are going up for certain seats, that seems a bit crappy.

If I were someone that had season tickets even for just 1 year, I'd ask for something if I were to renew my seats. Ask them for like a Hoodie, or a jersey, or a signed 8x10 of a Clipper, any one. Just let them know you've been loyal to the Clippers for X amount of years even when they were one of the worst teams in all of professional sports, and if your going to have to pay more for the seats you buy every single year, you'd like a nice gift or a gift package. Maybe ask for way better seats for 1 game as part of you renewing your seats.

As far back as 3 yeara ago all this was possible. I know,,I had 200 level seats but sat courtside at least once every year. You did get a lot of freebies. I am sure some of you remember back in the old days (2 years ago) junk at the stores in Staples was almost always on sale,,and they had shirts at 10-12 bucks (I still have a couple).

But with the renewed Clippers comes the renewed quest to turn a hefty profit to pay for the renewed Clippers. The days are gone. Look at my case. I plunked down my deposit and when did they ever want 500 a seat,,and when did you have to go on a seniority list to buy seats (thatnk the gods they backdated my seniority)?

Hence the reaosn i am slooking to split. Renewed interest menas less seats at a heafty price. Supply and demand.

I can't wait to see how my Dodger tickets soar next year.

I was a season ticket holder a few years ago, but haven't had season tickets for about 3 years. The day after CP3 was signed I tried to get season seats, but they were sold out. I paid a $1000 deposit a few weeks ago and got season seats a couple of days ago. I got section 105 for $70/ticket.

On Tuesday I go the call from my tix rep and I now have seats in the 200s for next year,,,,price is only a dollar more then this year. I think it's like 38 per seat. I also get those same seats for this years playoffs. The rep told me a while back that the price bump for the 200s was for the front row seats. that is what the Dodgers do too.

Row 17. It looks like there was no price increase at all for these seats. My old seats, back in 2008-2009 were in 107 and I paid $50/ticket. I tried to post a link to last season's (2010-2011) season ticket prices so each of you can compare prices with what season seats are going for next year, but I need 95 posts before they will allow me to post a link. If any of the vets on here want to post the link let me know and I will PM it to you. (If I am allowed to do that)

I just looked at my invoice,,these seats came down to 34 per seat. This is an increase for the 44 game package of 1 dollar total compared to my first year as a STH

My tix went up 32%.

209, Row 3, Aisle

The reason that there is so much variety in increases is that they split up the sections in terms of pricing. For example, this year I pay $34 per ticket, along with everyone else in my 200 section. Next year if you are in the first 4 rows the tickets go to $45, then the next so many rows $40 and the back so many rows are something like $35.

Sucks for me cause I have had tix since 2003 but all good they are trying to create real value per location. Will see how select a seat works out...

Let me know if eanyone is down to pick up some of these or if they have some 100 level, lower rows to split up.

Lets go Clipps!

( since I can't start my own threads for whatever reason) I'm curious to see what people think for next year or the future of this team .This postseason will be more about experience for our young players then anything but I like our future even more

These are some of my ideas for next years team and part of the way I think Olshey is planning to structure this team

Center:Deandre Jordan is signed for 4 years so he's not going anywhere.

As a backup I think we should reconsider signing Sofoklis Schortsianitis(2nd round draft pick 2006)at one year for 1mil (that's nothing for a backup big like The big Sofo who can do this to Bynum>>

or this to Dwight

) Reggie Evans being re signed would be a good alternative.Nazr Muhammed and even better Marcus Camby if he has one year left in him I would take a look at as well(I would LOVE Camby to come back to this team and continue to school DJ).

PF :Blake Griffin if not allready the best PF in the game he will be soon enough(lets hope Blake signs with us forever like Donald said he would this summer). As a backup bring back Kenyon Martin(he'll be even better playing with Billups healthy next year;Billups has said he knows how to play Kenyon to his strenghts and I would imagine theyll both have unfinished business with this team.

SF :Caron Butler is signed for three years.Although he has lost a step he's still a good player that will be needed. As a backup I say we look at the draft I know a 2nd round pick usually doesn't mean anything but this is a deep draft at the 3 position which we need help at .

My draft list for possible 2nd rounders:

SF SG Or a Center but you wont find any good big men at #54

This draft is loaded with players at the 3 spot which is primarly where we need help.I've been keeping up with the draft so this is my list.

1.Kris Joseph Syracuse

2.Darius Miller Kentucky

3.William Bufford Ohio State

4Hollis Thompson Georgetown (probably the best fit for us a 6'7 SF that shot 43% from 3 and mostly from the corner)

5Alex Young SG, IUPUI

*I would also sign as a bench player Long Beach States Larry Anderson as a lock down defender for us(I doubt he gets drafted)

SG Resign Billups for two years and Nick Young for at least a year maybe more depending on what we do with Mo's contract.Billups spot up shooting and his role on this team is undeniably huge.Nick Youngs Defense is underrated whatever he can give us on the offensive end is just a plus and just think what he'll be able to do next year(Billups even has said to take advantage of Nick Youngs abilities you can't just use him on isolation plays VINNY)

PG Chris Paul has one more year on his contract but the fact that he bought a million dollar home and has a big say in the franchise I would imagine he plans on staying(hopefully Donald signs him forever like he said he would).Eric Bledsoe's upside is through the roof I would argue that outside of R Westbrook he's the best athlete at his position(he can also play the 2 pretty well I think especially defensively;Good job Calipari)

*Eric Bledsoe I hope stays but Olshey's given hints that he might be willing to trade Bledsoe for the right deal.So if we can't re sign Nick Young or get a decent SG besides Billups(Courtney Lee comes to mind but would probably ask for 2 much;same with Ray Allen)I would consider trading him for Jeremy Lamb(SG out of Uconn)

*Mo Williams for a 1st round pick for a team desperate for a pg would be a dream come true but I dont think its possible with his big contract.Amnesting Mo's an option but more then likely he'll opt out which we'll then probably use to re-sign Billups 3mil. Kenyon for 2 mil and Nick Young for 2-3 mil.A sign and trade maybe but I would rather we have our team set early so they can practise and learn to play together.

Coach:Sloan(doubt it) Nate Mcmillan a I really have no clue who CP3 would want(I assume this is what it comes down too)

I found it interesting Billups said on the espn studios that he liked working with D Antoni last year(he also said that early in the year about VDN so who knows)
