I think it's better that he sits this year out and start preparing for next year knowing that we will have higher expectations.
Honestly, what is the point of going back on the court this year? To make a cameo appearence?
He doesn't need to do that.........we all know that he can play, we all know that he is appreciated.
He & Kaman just need to shut it down, and let the MASH unit play the season out so it can die a fast horrible death. |

| He will play a few games at the end of the season. They need to give the fans a sniff of Brand in the lineup. They need to sell some tickets this summer. So, it will be more about giving the fans hope, reminding them that Brand will back. I hear that he is actually ready to go right now. There just isn't any reason to rush since a high draft pick is more important that wins at the moment. Watch for him the last 6 games. |

| Another issue that is keeping him out is that they just don't have time for any 5-on-5 practices. They have very few opportunities since they have games every other day the last week and for the rest of the season. So the coaching staff is not able to evaluate his readiness in a 5-on-5 situation. |

This team will forget what it is like to win.
The fans will forget too, and season ticket holders will leave without a glimmer of hope.
Elton will probably play 4 games, knowing how protective Dunleavy is. He won't get full minutes, or start in any of them. |

| Sincerely I wouldn't understand if EB plays less than 10 games...Why is he going to play??What does he need to show??Nothing...If he can play more than 10 games then maybe he should reappear but if only has to play for a few games it's totally unnecessary. See you next year EB!!! |

| Even if it's one game he should play even if it's 15 minutes. It shows that he cares about the team and we lose not because we're losers but bcause we just had Clipper luck. If Shaun is REALLY expected to play nxt yr, give him 5 minutes. Kaman as well even if it's 5 minutes All to start The basketball world will take notice. Clipper Pride |

| If EB were on this site right now he would say, I'M PLAYING. His injury though it takes time to heal, isn't on the same level as Shaun's injury. Once its healed, its healed. He really doesn't need to be babied at this point. Bring him back, but play him small minutes at first and bigger minutes right at the end of the season. Trust me, they need to sell some tickets this summer. Attendance sucks. And they can't spend money this summer. So EB will play, just to give the fans a sniff. |
