Although the Blazers are the 10th seed in the west they have a recored of 35-33, which is as good as the 5th seed in the east Washington Wizards. This will be a tough game for them as the Clippers are without Knight and Maggette as well as the usual MIA players.
Best of luck tonight!
(Made the thread because one wasn't up so I thought I'd help out tonight) |

| WOW! What a slam by Thornton! Nice feed by Dickau. Happened around 30 seconds in the second quarter so if any of you are recording the game, check it out. |

| At the half the game is tied at 57 with 4 Clippers in double digits but not who you may think. Parker with 12, Ross with 10, Dickau with 11, and Powell with 10. Way to step it up! |

| 87-82 Blazers up. Clippers are gonna have to make their shots while the Blazers are on their semi-cold streak. Everyone has been great but Thornton has been lacking tonight. He's coming back in with 5 mins left. Lets see if he can get hot. |

And the final score is 107-102. The Clippers battled very hard for what seemed like a 30 seconds that lasted forever. Mobley hit all the big shots including a couple of 3's giving him 15 in the quarter. But it wasn't enough to come back and win. They played a very strong first half but failed to keep up the level of play in the second half. All in all they played a very respectable game tonight with only 7 active players. I hope the guys recognize how well they played tonight against a strong Blazers team.
Al struggled throughout the whole game but had one hell of a dunk near the end of the second quarter. Parker, Dickau, Ross, Mobley, and Powell all had a very strong game. Powell had a career high 21 points. Mobley finished with 24 followed by Dickau with 15 andParker and Ross with 14. The combination of the named players but Mobley shot 26 of 38 FG's....not bad at all.
Clippers play again tomorrow night against these guys at home so here's hoping for a win back home |

| Thanks for filling in clipps04- repped man. I was so busy I haven't even had a chance to watch the game yet (recorded it). Looks like we had a bad 3rd quarter & came back in the 4th but it wasn't enough. Kind a disappointed to see Al with on 5 points in 40 minutes??! Wow they must've really locked him down. Everyone else shot the ball exceptionally well. |

| Wow, Josh Powell playing with all his effort. This guy wants to be on a team next year. He's more of a PF than Tim Thomas is. Thats for sure. Al struggled, but that will happen. I agree David, they probably zeroed in on him while Maggette sat. Great effort it looks like, just a bit short. Oh well, closer to the 5th spot (except NY lost i think). |

| Np David glad to help out. Yeah they did a pretty good job on Al but he didn't seem to drive to the basket like he usually does. Seemed to just catch the ball and shoot. I hope he plays better tonight and hopefully the other guys can have the same stellar performance they had last night. |

| Maybe know someone can be on my side that Josh Powell is a very good player and he plays wit a lot of hart. He is a very good player and I think he is like Jason maxiel of the Detroit pistons he is very good. If the clippers would know how to use him he will play almost every game like this. He is a very good player who can get 2 or 3 offensive rebounds per game and u never know maybe we might need him some day. Maybe we will be down by 1 in the nba finals next season and Josh Powell get the offensive rebound and win the game for us hey u never know. I think the clippers should resign him and give him more minutes and they should give Tim Thomas fewer minutes since he doesn’t play 100% every game have anyone seen him play defense he doesn’t even try well I hope Josh Powell can be with the team next season and play more minutes and more shot attempts then Tim Thomas. |

Considering the way he played yesterday....I can't argue that. |

| Yeah Tim seems to like the will to play harder, though I understand the season we are having and how frustrating it is but don't play a half ass game. Have some heart dammit! lol |

Yeah, Bill good points. Powell has been asked to play out of position. Starting at center, he's overmatched out there. If he got a chance to play as a 2nd PF, his minutes would probably end up looking even better. |
