This year has not been kind to Rose for injuries, but in his previous 3 years he's missed a total of 6 games, so the made of glass statement might be a bit of an over statement.

Let's see how far they go in the PO's IF they don't have him....he was their MVP last year with out a doubt...league MVP maybe, maybe not. Some years aren't so obvious.

The bulls shouldn't have played him while he was nursing that groin injury.

D Rose is Gilbert Arenas 2.0 in terms of his actual skill set, minus the fact that Gil I believe was getting more steals and 3pters a game. D Rose is a volume scorer and is NOT a pass first PG. D Rose's defense can simply be attributed to Tom Thibs system, that team is built around playing defense.

Move D Rose for John Wall and see how well D Rose does.

DRose is a system pg, and the fact that he has been injured while his team continues to win games proves that he wasn't really the MVP last season

Proves they have really good team with lots of depth that's all...the rest is "proof" for your mind set. Smile

Rose would probably get at the very least, 18PPG on any team he was on regardless. However most other numbers I'd decrease if he were on many different NBA teams. He's easily a top 5 PG in the league but I still vote CP3 as the best and NO not because he's on the Clippers I've said CP3 was the best PG in the league for years. You can't argue with 18-20 PPG, 8-12 AST, 2+ stls, and being able to shoot at a high % from anywhere on the court.

Agree and all the numbers, basic and advance, prove that out. Yep, still in shock he's on our team.

By the way the Bulls are 15-7 without Rose....and 28-7 with him. I'd say their a much better team with him.

No question that they are better with him. It's just that he doesn't seem to be as valuable to the bulls as many people made out to be.

Agreed. When you are winning over 70% of your games without your start PG and 80% with him, that's not a significant drop off in terms of the NBA, that's getting you to the playoffs regardless.

Rose is highly talented and a terrific scorer no doubt, but the Bulls have great people on their team and solid coaching all around. They could easily lose Rose and get a guy like Sessions or someone else low key to play PG for them and they'd still be a top 3 seed in the East.

They won't win the EC without him.

True the Bulls probably wouldn't win the Eastern Conference without him but we don't know that for sure. The Bulls are incredibly tough and if they don't win / make it to the Finals this year they will probably have it figured out as to what they are missing and fill it.

The bulls have no shot to win the east without rose, they wouldn't beat the celtics or heat in a 7 game series without rose. What the bulls are missing is another reliable scorer next to rose so he doesn't have to carry the team like last year's playoffs. Rip Hamilton is not the answer, boozer can't be counted on to give you 20 pts consistently.

Bulls are done. Its up to Indiana now to beat the Heat otherwise Bron is getting a free ride to the Finals. If the Heat win this year its by a fluke, Chicago could have taken Miami in a 7 game series with a healthy D Rose. I just fear the Spurs age is going to catch up with them at some point and OKC is the thinnest team in the NBA, they have 0 bench ( Harden is a starter coming off the bench, coining him as a 6th man is ridiculous. )

Also if anyone read the ESPN post about LEbrons Nike Shoe creator earlier, that was just classless to say the absolute least.
