I belive the the Clippers should draft OJ Mayo with there pick is this years draft as i belive he will be a steal in the draft like Thornton.

And what about trading Tim Thomas for Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks as smiths another elton Brand Type Player.

Ithink the clips should draft eric gordan... oj mayo's attitude may pose problems in the long run... also the hawks would never trade jsmooth for tim thomas i think... thats just not even in my mind... also i think this off season the clippers should try and go after mike miller, lowry or crittenton and the grizzles draft pick for maggette and our draft pick... sign and trade that way we get size shooting and solid point in the making and we move up in the draft.... i don't know if salaries match up though and screw smush parker... i hate that guy

This is a hard discussion because until the lottery we do not know exactly where we will be drafting. We could likely end up anywhere from 3 to 9. There is a big difference between who we would draft at 3 and who we would draft at 9. And what happens if we end up at 6 but we trade that pick and the minney pick to move up to 1.

Just an observation. Most experts have Duke's Gerald Henderson ranked fairly low in the coming draft. I'm not sure if there's some reason I don't know about, but from what I've seen watching Duke play... Gerald Henderson is a STUD. Yeah, all caps. He's fearless going to the hoop and plays like a man, especially at games end. If we can get him in the second round, or undrafted even, I'm all for it!

I haven't seen Duke play but the way you're describing him he might be another sleeper like Carlos Boozer. He might not come out this year though.

Jamfan is right- it's hard to say who we should draft because we don't know our exact lottery position yet. I have a feeling it'll probably be #7, but I hope we get higher, much higher, like #1.... Very Happy

The Clippers should draft OJ Mayo, assuming they get sixth pick. Did you know that they have a 40% chance of getting sixth pick, and a 33% chance (the most of any team) that they will fall to seventh? Anyway, I can not take any more risks. We need a player that can help this team from the first practice

Yesterday I watched the ncaa's web and is simply amazing. You can watch the games for free, with high quality. What else can you ask??? I'll try to watch some games but let's see if the clippers.topbuzz scouters can provide the forum with interesting reports about players who could be in the next top ten draft!!Smile It would be fun. Just an idea

IN our current poll the only kids to get more than one vote is OJ with 11 votes and Eric Gorden with 3. But what about Stephen Curry? What a scoring maching he is. One thing we have always lacked is a stable of ourside shooters. Without them teams will zone and sag on Kaman and Brand and dare you to shoot outside. It is time we get some dead eye shooters. The last few months OJ has shown his outside shot as well. Now over 41% from the 3.

Stephen Curry has been great- he has a quick release just like his dad. Unfortunately he's not as tall, and he's playing shooting guard. If the Clippers trade down to get two first rounders then he should be considered for the later pick. Can you imagine if the Clippers sign Monta Ellis and then combine him with a guy like Stephen Curry in the backcourt? That'd be a sight to watch for sure, at least offensively.

Shan Foster should definitely be considered also for a later first round pick- that guy looks like he can fill it up too, + he's 6'5".

As I've been reading there are a lot of really good shooters this next draft: Mayo, Gordon, Bayless...Now you call Stephen Curry...Are they so good shooters or they are just OK shooters?? I supose none of these are like Ray Allen, isn't it?Sad ooooooooooo

Curry and Gordon are probably the best shooter of those you mentioned Miquel. Curry is only about 6'2" though and plays SG. He's kind of a less athletic Monta Ellis but a better shooter. Mayo is actually a dependable shooter too. But yeah no Ray Allen or Reggie Miller type shooters....

Curry might be a good 2nd round pick, but I'd kinda like to pick up a Center there.

I can't disagree with that- Kevin Love is starting to look like a solid candidate for the Clippers. If Kaman goes out he can go in and still be a scoring threat and hold his own inside defensively. He's also flexible enough to play some power forward too.

I'm a UCLA fan so I love Collison, Westbrook, and Love. But Love is shorter than listed and could fill in at Center but will be a PF. I think he is a great pickup for any team, but the Clippers need a deadly outside shooter or a franchise PG. Or both in one player.

How about one of those 2 guards from Memphis.............Rose who is 6'3 and a freshman

or Chris Douglas Roberts who is a junior and is nice and tall at (6'7)

I'd love to get Rose, but I think he'll be picked #1 or #2. Unless we win some ping-pong balls, we wont be getting Rose. Douglas-Roberts plays well and he's very athletic. I see him as a mid to late first round pick. If he falls to the second round it would be a good pickup I think.

Danilo Gallinari..... i like this kids attitude... read his interview on draftexpress.com.... we should take a big consideration in this guy... but there is eric gordan... my boy westi... or even anthony randolph from LSU... 6'11" athletic but needs to put on some weight for stability... but we need to bring back singleton... and keep an eye on korolev.... i know you all think he was a bust but i think we needed to give him a shot... and maybe time... he was really young.... so keep an eyye for that kid, but i'm telling you Danilo Gallinari.... will be a stud in the NBA

Like some of you guys said, Derrick Rose would be a dream come true... We'll probably have to settle for Kevin Love or OJ Mayo or Brooke Lopez or Westbrook. Now those four are pretty darn good consolation prizes to be sure. And yeah like Jlemm & 714 said Douglas Roberts would be a steal if the Clippers can get him in the 2nd round.

You need tp get the Jim Rome buzzer, and be runned.....ehhhhhhhhhhhh

    Korolev!!!!!!! Are you kidding me!
Clippers don't need another 6'11 guy.

They need a shooting guard while we have to retain Knight or go out and look for another point guard to start while Livingston comes off the bench.

I'll be rallying hard all off season for Gilbert Arenas, Mike Miller, and Ben Gordon as we need an outside perimeter star to compliment Brand and

Douglas Roberts or Rose from the draft...............Management can't screw it up this year! Can they?

Westbrook, with 22 points, had a game almost equal to DRose with 25 last Saturday, and has tremendous upside. Westy, hasn't declared for the draft yet and it is not a lock that he will. But if he does, we would not have to trade up to get him. He looked more like an NBA player against Memphis than any of the other Bruins did. Love showed his weakness, athleticism. He will be great in the NBA eventually, but only if he loses 15 lbs, defines his upper body, and increases his verbicle leap by at least 2 inches. OJ is probably ready to fly right now. Who will we get? Dunno.

Thanks for the report JamFan. Yeah he's definitely an option come draft time. Also that Bayless from 'Zona is entering the draft. I dont know enough on him to make an assessment though.
