I read on Ben Maller's rumor site that we were ready to sign Lamond Murray back. check it out at www.benmaller.com for October 10th. Hmm, I like Murray, but do we really need him?? I guess he can't hurt.

Yep he's baaaaack. But I agree- I'm not sure why we need him at this stage of his career. Maybe just an extra veteran for training camp? He can stroke the 3 though.

No other team wanted Lamond Murray. If you look at his carreer stats it is easy to see that he peaked during the 01/02 season and has been sliding downhill ever since. His shooting percentages tanked last season and he hit only 62% from the free throw line. In the NBA, and you are in your mid 30's, the odds of you ever coming back are are slim. Look at the Lakers, who signed Aaron McKie, who had his last good year 3 years ago. They are trying to find a way to dump him. The Clips probably sign Lamond for a song. He is just insurance in case somebody goes down. JamFan
