This is the worse thing I have seen in the NBA. This makes my blood boils and even more so because if you go to the Lakers forum, a bunch of the Lakers fans are supporting his play.

Artest, Barnes, Bynum and Kobe easily make 1st Team All NBA Douche.

they are fake ass wannabe tough guys. artest backed down from ibaka. i am starting to think the flakers had artest throw that cheap shot to get rid of harden since he was killing them. i really hope karma comes back and bites the flakers in the ass.

The cheapest of shots from a guy who's already known for being mental. They should kick him out for at least 10 games.

It's funny how hypocrital these Lakers fans are. They think Griffin celebrates too much after a dunk, yet he never pounds his chest or yells. All he does is stare down the guy for even attempting. Mett world Violent over there doing all that haha. Then a lot of their fan say that the elbow was unintentional? How stupid can you be? Then they say Harden deserve it because he trash talks to Kobe and that's what he gets, when the biggest trash talker of them all is Kobe himself. Look at them trash talking to the media about the Clippers, yet none of our players did that, except on the court. Lakers fan are the funny...they will convince themselves of something that is not and they will stick to it, even when it's so obvious.

The funny thing is the Lakers are both injury-causing douchebags AND flopping punks.

Now I am not saying it was highly intentional nor an accident but one can clearly see that Artest was highly pumped he actually did something this year for 1, but 2 it was between and accident and on purpose and if he's not suspended multiple games it's a tragedy because even if it were an accident he literally clocked Harden very hard.

I don't think your boy Powder-puff Gasol got the memo about not being a p*ssy... he screams like he's being raped by an elephant any time he gets a toe in the paint.

If you watch the replay on youtube. You can see Artest grab his nuts with both hands as the Thunder players approach him. WTF is he doing that for? The guy is bad for the league. Period.

There are actually some Lakers fan that actually believe it was intentional and that he deserves suspension. Then there are those Idiot Lakers fans, who think it was either Harden's fault or half of it was his fault. Saying he talks a lot of trash. Um Kobe anyone? Talks more trash then anyone in the league. After Artest threw an elbow, he didn't realize he knocked Harden down? If i threw an unintentional elbow, i'd be like oh $hit my bad and tried to help him up and see if dudes alright. I sure didn't see that from Artest. He just walked off like he didn't care, and was ready to throw down knowing what he did. If someone like that with a history of temper on our team for example, Kenyon Martin did that i'd say say suspend him for the playoffs. They gave dude a second chance. Idiot .Lakers and Artest deserve each other.

Credit the Lakers for popularizing the "verbal flop."

Step 1. Have the ball

Step 2. Yell "Heeeeeyy!", flail about, and hope for a whistle to blow

Your right on they say act like you dunked before his and that and he should get hurt by other players because he stares them down but yet other players pound their chest scream and yet griffin is target number one because he looks at someone

I seem to remember Laker fans calling for Artest's head when this happened, calling Artest a thug. James Harden got what he wanted? Well, Kobe got what he wanted for being a trash talker, right? But all Kobe got was Artest's face instead of his elbow. But since Artest elbowed Harden, he's a hero now.

Rockets' Artest going face-to-face with Kobe = Thuggery

Lakers' Artest/MVP elbowing James Harden = justified/James Harden got what he asked for.

Laker fan logic at its best.

Blake Griffin could end up going to the Lakers 14 years from now and I got 200$ says that they will claim he never flopped once and he's the best PF in the league and much better than Bynum ever was.

^ hope that never happens. but i get what u are saying and are dead on. its funny that the flaker dumbass fans think what they do is above reprehension. but its the nba's fault for always kissing their asses. for example, methhead kisses his biceps after dunking. yet thats not a taunting technical. if one of the clips did that, they would get a tech. see the different criteria. the best way to get rid of this bs is to call everything equally. the big teams get away with so much and when they do something like what artest did they bitch and moan.

Know what I retract what I said earlier about maybe it was incidental. After seeing it over and over again on ESPN clearly Artest was pumped up and there was light contact between the two players, not in an aggressive way but in a way that you KNOW the other guy is there before he went nuts with his elbow and knocked Harden to the ground.

I will say that Artest has made great personal and public strides to help better what people think of him in recent years but the way he acted afterwards when Ibaka tried to step in is further proof he did what he did more on purpose than anything else. Artest if he was innocent should have tried to see how Harden was doing or show some sort of emotion outside of the fact he was going to kill the Thunder team.

Anyone catch Kobe on the interview today? Honestly I think he has to be thinking, wtf is wrong with this guy?

If it was incidental, Artest would've immediately come up to Harden to see if he was alright. Instead, he kept going away as if he felt proud about the elbow.

Artest is probably the scariest mo fo in basketball. And if any Laker fan is proud of that you shouldn't be. I honestly think Kobe is scared of Artest and probably thinks he needs to be placed in an institution.

Yeah, he is scared of him. That's why he wanted no part of him in that little altercation they had in the 2009 playoffs.

How would Pau Gasol react if the guy Methead elbowed was Marc Gasol?
