WARNING!!! EXTREMELY GRAPHIC. On par with Livingston injury just about. His leg is very deformed.. looks like knee cap is on his shin. I didn't respect way he was here but still prayers go out to him. His career is over IMO. No way in hell a 32 year old, poorly conditioned player filled with injuries returns from this.

Oh my goodness man that looks just terrible- poor guy. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looks and Baron can come back eventually, but yeah it's going to be tough with all his other ailments as well. Hoping for a full 100% recovery for Baron....

No way a career ender. A dislocated knee takes a surprisingly short amount of time to heal; about 8 weeks.

His career is over this is just the finishing blow to a very injury prone career. He almost retired this off season he said because of his back. Even though he was a waste in LA i wish him the best of luck in rehab and a great life after basketball. He was a player with all the talent in the world, could have gone down as one of the best pgs ever. He just never cared to stay in shape and work at his craft. He even said he didnt start training until august each off season.

Just as I predicted. MRI results in.

@HowardBeckNYT

Baron Davis' knee injury much worse than thought: partial tear of patella tendon, complete tears of ACL and MCL. 12 month recovery

He's done. Along with his continuous back problems, conditioning issues and 32 year old age... he's not coming back.

It does sound bad, but I'm sure Baron will enjoy his life PLENTY despite this if he can't come back Smile. He's got plenty of interests outside basketball.

He's done Torn ACL, MCL, partial tear patellar tendon

This is KARMA for taking the clippers organization and fan's money while coming into games out of shape and half assing effort.

you sir, are retarded. Yes, I'm sure the basketball gods sent down furious karmic retribution for what he did while with the Clippers.

I feel bad for Baron Davis. He did not deserve all the hate from this Clippers fan and organziation. He was unfortunate to come here in a time of when Elton Brand blindsides and our stars players keep falling down to injury. I wish all the luck for Baron Davis to recover on his injury.

while i dont agree with what jarca thinks about the injury, i will say that this injury, while freakish in nature, makes you think if baron's lack of conditioning, the abuse his knees took from that lack of conditioning finally caught up to him. not saying it is responsible for the injury itself, but it could definately be a contributing factor. just my opinion. like i said, i wish him the best. and david, u are right. he has his film business to fall back on. smart on his part.

yep baron brought it on himself. he would fluctuate in weights between 230 to 300. that cant be good. like to compare it to a boxer who balloons up in weight in between fights which cant be good in a long run

His weight tore up his knee over the years. you can't expect your body to hold up when you don't take care of it.

Sadly, I think Baron's basketball legacy will be one of squandered talent, but I wish him nothing but good health.

Cleepers: baron should have been one of the top point guards in the league for years. Unfortunately for him he had knee issues dating back to UCLA. He made things worse for himself by coming in out of shape, had some attitude issues at times and it's just the sad case of shoulda, woulda, coulda with Baron Davis. Just a talented player who should have been better on and off the court.

Yeah, that might be it for BD's basketball career, but he'll have a long career in the media/entertainment business. He's a good dude and has many passions that extend beyond basketball. He'll be fine.

Jarca, your knack for saying the right things is second to none. I guess ignorance is bliss. Before you go throwing "Karma" out to validate your obvious hate, you might want to reconsider your words.

Most fans think the Clippers' history is a result of bad karma from Sterling. From Manning, Blake Griffin's injury.

Anyway, for all you guys who think you know the reason for his injury, Baron Davis has always had bad knees. He blew out his ACL while playing for UCLA...Must have been karma then too.

While I think his conditioning and ongoing injuries played a part in this, saying that it was karma for what he did or didn't do here just shows a person's ignorance and insensitivity to watching a person's career end.

That type of comment makes me feel ashamed that it came from Clippers Nation. Congrats on that.

Oh, and just for good measure, how are CP3, BG, and Caron doing now? Is that more Karma from Sterling?

Livingston literally almost had his leg amputated that's how bad his was. Is there talk of this for Baron? I don't think so.

As for the Baron haters and "lover" out there, leave it. I think were all tired of this guy and its time to move on. There's only 1 Clipper I think we can all agree that we truly despise and that's EB. It was set up perfectly for us to have an EB / Baron combo which I think would have made us all very happy. EB screwed us and left for Philly. Leaving Baron here with little to nothing to work with and he kept his couch potato thing going up until almost the end, but at least he gave a great effort at the end.

Sucks for the injury, I don't wish injuries upon people like Baron and I know how bad knees can hurt just from working, simply exercise, playing sports etc and to have something like this happen has to really suck. Only people I wanna see hurt are pretty much Lebron James and that's about it.
