| The Clippers will face off vs. the always formidable San Antonio Spurs tonight. Although this looks like loss #50, let's see if we can see some positives from different players like Al Thornton who's been struggling because of a sore hammy. Kaman might even play also. Go Clips! |

WOW Corey and Dumbleavy were going at it during the time out in the 3rd quarter at the 10:20 mark..................
Corey was like what ever, talking back with Dumbleavy, andat the end, you could see Dumbleavy's lips saying......you do that all the time
What ever was said, they cut the lead down to 3
Great to see Kaman back |

yeah I saw that but I couldn't figure out what was being said. If thats what was going on I'm surprised they are playing this well.
Also Kamen and Mobley seemed to be going at it in the first or second quarter (can't remember) |

| Tough loss. To pull Thornton out when we had the lead was devastating. Oh well... |

| Tough loss...just proves that the more starters we actually have playing, the better we do. Al bounced back with 21 points!!!! But NY won, so we are only 1 game ahead of them. |

This game showed what a huge difference interior defense adds to the team. With Kaman back the guys were able to battle the Spurs to the end and even lead 84-79. I thought we were going to win at that point but Manu had other ideas- and unfortunately we couldn't put Q Ross in there to check him. But yeah Chris played beautiful defense, intimidating shots and preventing layups. His offense was definitely sharper than I expected too- going against EB one on one in practice certainly seemed to help.
Maggette tooks some REALLY questionable long jumpers early in the shot clock. Man he certainly has the green light or what? Corey needs to realize that he can get those or even better shots later in the shot clock. He cannot do it by himself.
Overall the defense was great anchored inside by Kaman. But an insurance policy player should be seriously considered by the Clippers in the draft- Brook Lopez or Kevin Love. Just in case Chris or EB gets injured next season. |

| Yeah I actually voted for him in the poll- definitely a true center. Love seems more skilled but yeah would definitely be an undersized center. EB actually can play some center too if needed- he did it on occasion when Kaman was still a rookie/sophomore player. |

BTW the Knicks won in OT vs. the Heat (somebody had to win that game I suppose), so we're just one game "behind" them in the race for 5th in the lotto. When EB comes back I hope he plays er, limited minutes. |

| The real butt bite. We at full strength can eat the Spurs like a ham and cheese. Look at how close we came busted up and Cassell-less with Thomas being lacadasical again |

| It was really nice seeing Thornton finally find his jumper again. His outside shot had gone south, or somewhere anyway for the last few games. But that three in a row string at the end of the first half (and they SHOULD have gone to him for the last shot!) was good to see. Hopefully he'll stay "on" as they play out the string. Corey has evidently decided that he can just put it up whenever the mood strikes him... but even the SAS announcers seemed surprised by his and Thomas' lack of effort on defense. Ah well, still it was good seeing CK out there again. He looked pretty good considering. Now then... what's all this Kevin Love/Brook Lopez talk? They're fine prospects, no doubt about that, but weren't we after a point with our first pick in this draft? Or failing that a two guard? Seems like those spots are the biggest long term holes in the lineup. Has the Clipper Nation been swayed by some impressive performances in the tournament? If THAT'S the way we're thinking then my vote is to trade down and get Tyler Hansbrough plus another pick. If there's a tougher player in the tournament I haven't seen him, and that "not athletic enough" bs is just that... bs. He's looked pretty freakin' athletic against all competition so far. And the competition has been very good. I still think we should snap up Bayless or Westbrook though, and save the backup big pick for the deep second round. Just my opinion. |

| I like taking a top notch PG in the first round, and a Center in the 2nd. Hansbrough and Lopez will likely be available at that time, with international players and the super athletic guys getting taken mostly in the first, they should be around early in the 2nd round. |
