jeff couldn't get a team that had yao and t mac out of the first round. enough said.

coming from the guy who wants to trade blake and DJ for dwight, you're in no position to be asking me what I'm smoking. clearly the stuff you're on is alot stronger

They were hurt every yr or would wear down as the series went on. Yao was too big for the NBA. He couldnt move on D.

And I only have 1 account. Who is it do you think I am?

I'll take Mcmillan

Don't get me wrong but I agree with the guy who wants to trade DJ and BG for DH. Are you guys willing to wait for them to develop? That will take a while, say 3 to 5 years! I want to win now!!!!

Sloan, McMillan, Jeff. If it's not one of those names then we are better off keeping VDN.

Sloan is the best fit.

Spo can't even win with arguably the top 2 players in the league.

What makes you think he can win with just 1 superstar (CP3)?

Spo plays "star" ball. He doesn't really have a system. It's simple pick and roll with the role players not really involved other than standing outside.

Yeah, let's get arguably the worst coach in NBA history.

roll

Newsflash: The Bobcats weren't 7-59 just because they had terrible players.

Silas couldn't even get above .500 with Lebron James after his rookie season when he was putting up MVP type numbers.

i still have faith in clippers but even if they win against the sperms, VDumN is NOT the fit for clippers future whatsoever.

My jr high coach can outcoach this guy

The Clippers still would not be a championship team it would be a lateral move. And D12 is a problem in the locker room while Blake Griffin is more of a leader.

Jeez, its a shame that so many of you are disappointed with BG because he will not be going anywhere and ya'll know it, mark July 1 on your calender,,the date you will become really sad.. If you want DH so much,,better follow the team he goes to instead. Now moving DJ out for someone taller I could see,,but if that happens we won't hear about it until after BG gets his contract.

I vote for Sloan,,,,although I suspect with DTS track record of squeezing every dime out of the coaches, if Vinny the Black is cheap compared to any one else,,I see him getting another year. After all,,we are in the playoffs with a team that hasn't even been together one full season

do you mean erik spoelstra? what are you smoking, he is as much of an amateur coach as VDN is, he has no experience, no idea on running good offensive plays, no idea on coaching and developing our rookie bigs and i don't want to see any interviews and listen to him say over and over again 'just go to keep grinding, grinding grinding'

i would want a true vet coach, from those who are available at the mo, i would want jackson, sloan or van gundy

Sloan would be the perfect fit, we could potentially have another Malone and stockton here in L.A. if that happens.

The playoffs are a great time for solidarity. Imagine if you were a Clipper player or coach and you go to your fav website only to read the fans having a field day discussing who to dump, who is a piece of trash, who is dispensible, and who we are going to replace them with. These discussions are going to happen, but right now we are going to war. Whose back do you have?

I would be happy with Brian Shaw. Young, hungry, knows the game. See Vogel in Indy and look who his lead assistant is. The Lakers screwed up, we can take this guy and build.

Paul Silas is a very good coach man. You can't base it on one season with the worst ROSTER in NBA history.

I care more about the coaching staff then the head coach, we need to get the best big man coach in the league and then get the second best big man coach in the league.Cause the way I see it our future lies with Blake and DJ's development we'll contend only if they improve enough to make us contenders.

I was shocked I had to scroll down threw nearly half the post before someone finally made sense. Tom T or T-Squared as I call him is on the last leg of his contract as well. And he, like VDN can be let go by their respective teams this summer and free to sign elsewhere. Thib would really help with our defense and is a terrific coach, I really hope Chicago screws the pooch and we can swoop in and take him.

Paul Silas is a good coach for a young team that is developing. But players will tune him out after a few years.

unless the guy is Jerry Sloan or Phil, every other name you throw out is in the same boat of mediocrity as the rest.

Jerry Sloan or bust.

Nate McMillan is my first choice. The guy will have greater longevity if successful than retired HOF and future HOF coaches. I wouldn't be against giving Brian Shaw, Sam Cassell, and Patrick Ewing interviews also.

IMO, SVG is a better xs and os coach than his brother. Don't you think 5 years for JVG is a long time to not be coaching? But if we had any chance of getting Dwight, SVG would definitely not make sense, right?

Thibs is the best on the list but he's not going anywhere. PIPEDREAM.

I think Vinny is doing well under the circumstances. Hard to blame him for us going against a solid team in the 2nd round. But I don't think Vinny can become Win-ny and take us to the Finals once all is said and done. I agree with GhostShip "Lets wait with this thread till after playoffs."

If you want to go cheap, COACH I AM will be sitting in the stands waiting for an interview.

Actually I should have hoisted up the sarcasm flag. The point I was trying to make was without the players (injuries or lack of talent) even the so-called great coaches are in affective.

Putting our coaching situation aside, we lacked the over all talent to compete for the WC Championship, let alone an NBA title this year...maybe next year when we improve the roster.

Oh and Tom T isn't going anywhere. wink
