LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly folks, conspiracy anyone? YEs I know it's a "lottery" but this has gone back to the 1st draft lottery when the Knicks miraculously got the 1st pick and took future HOF Patrick Ewing.

Portland nabs #1 pick with what, a 1.3% chance and the Bulls vault back to a force when they nabbed the #1 pick with a 3% chance. I could be mistaken but 1 of these 2 teams had a 3% some chance, and the other a 1% some chance.

Charlotte needed that pick more than anyone. Hornets got dismantled this past offseason losing West and CP3. Gordon out most of the year and Kaman likely gone. Aminu = garbage and the Minnesota pick was trash as well.

Hornets miraculously find a new owner, get awarded and ALL STAR GAME AGAIN and SOMEHOW end up with the #1 pick in the draft.

NBA is a flat out joke. Cleveland tanked to get the #1 pick to land home-town hero LEbron james to boost ratings, Chicago has a next to nothing chance like Portland ( who has been a force since forever ) to help their franchises and now the Hornets get the #1 pick.

Anthony Davis is going to be an incredible defensive player and his best offensive numbers are probably going to be 12-18ppg tops. I hope he bombs and that franchise sucks for years. I hope Gordon gets offered a max deal by Indiana or somewhere else and the Hornets are forced to match it or let him walk. I'm done.

is this really a surprise? everyone knew The Hornets would win it by default.

The same could be said of Griffin coming to the Clips after some how Brand left house when he promised to stay.

2012-Hornets get 1st pick.(2011-CP3 leaves)

2011-Cavs get 1st pick(2010 LeBron leaves)

2010-Wizards get 1st pick(2009-Arenas gun incident, Butler, Jamison traded)

2009-Clippers get 1st pick(2008-Brand leaves)

2008-Bulls get 1st pick(2008-Bulls hire Del Negro)

I don't believe the draft is rigged, but it's weird to see how these teams got the 1st overall pick after what they experienced the year before.

the biggest proof that the draft isn't rigged is the worse team in basketball since the lottery started have had the most #1's. Our beloved clippers have had 5 next closest 3

Lottery is rigged. When your constantly picking in the top 5 almost every single year the chances of landing the #1 pick stay high. ESP when it's been like 27 years since the Lottery started.

Jim Rome called David Stern and asked him if the draft lottery was fixed because the Hornets won it. It's an NBA owned team ( not sure if the final sale has gone through yet ), they were all dying to try to sell the team, they just lost a top 3-5 player in the NBA and were also granted an All-Star game.

Rome also replied that he's just asking the question that everyone else is wondering. How is it a coincidence that this happens? Knicks win the Ewing Lottery, Cavs win the LEbron Lottery, Chicago wins the Rose Lottery. THings honestly don't add up.

Hornets maybe looking to trade up! Working out Sullinger and PJ3. I give Sullinger slipping to 10 a 1% chance and PJ3 being there a 40% chance at best. Maybe Detroit or someone else lets NO move up a spot or two and NO gives up something in return. I think they wanna rock out Davis & Sulling as a PF/C combo and maybe try to trade Okafor or amnesty him.
