Clippers were the 4th best team out of timeouts based on successful buckets scored surprisingly. Read it in an article and was shocked. This is one of those times where you can't trust stats/numbers though. Anybody watching the games knows we had poor execution.

Nomercy knows why. His covert jabs in 2 threads weren't so covert. I'll just leave it at that. We also had a bad history when I was a mod. This was my way of showing him I know what's up.

Edit:

I guess Nomercy doesn't discriminate either. He'll go after any mod too. lol

Actually Clippers were 2nd.

"The four teams who are better immediately following timeouts: The Memphis Grizzles (0.866 ATO PPP; 0.85 overall PPP), the Los Angeles Lakers (0.914; 0.894), the Miami Heat (0.92; 0.909) and, surprisingly, the Los Angeles Clippers (0.933; 0.912). In fact, only the San Antonio Spurs had a higher ATO PPP (0.939) than the Clippers."

He was saying that the stats don't mean anything. He was just curious. Good find, 86! That was surprising to see.

I just can't help thinking Nomercy was seriously thinking he was on to something and was ready to throw it down. Now? Now he probably picked up his ball and is on his way home.

This is an example of a personal attack BTW. I'm giving you a formal warning on that because frankly I'm sick of the newer posters ruining the quality of this forum with trash talk. Either learn to post in a more tactful and respectful manner or don't post at all.

Not only were we very good out of timeouts, but we were also one of the most efficient offenses all season.

The problems with this team were on the defensive end.

Agree. We run a similar offense to OKC who runs nonstop PNR and Iso and they were the 2nd ranked offense and we were 4th. They are 1 win from the finals right now. Our bigger problems are definitely defense, rebounding etc. Offense will naturally improve as chemistry is built.

The worst, according to Pruiti and Pelton-and pretty much everyone else paying attention-were the Los Angeles Clippers. Vinny Del Negro and Atlanta Hawks head coach Larry Drew.

In fact, only the San Antonio Spurs had a higher ATO PPP (0.939) than the Clippers. Del Negro might call terrible plays-everyone seems to think so, at least-but Chris Paul makes up for a lot.

LOL you left that out 86! i guess u didnt want to highlight and post that part

One is evidence and facts (what I posted) and what you posted is speculation and opinion. You're doing a great job of putting the nails in your own coffin here champ.

I didn't post the opinion aspect of it... because everybody here can speculate and form their own opinions. I even said we could have been better out of timeouts myself before you thought to call me out. I just wanted to give you a different perspective and post NUMBERS and FACTS.

That's covert for me. The guy thinks he's an agent and this is his internet morse code. Took me literally, a split second to get it. He's using my post counts. He still mad cause I said I was proud that we gave it our best, and went out in a blaze of glory in game 4. That's must have soiled his pants, reading that.

C*J= 11g

11g= my post count

Again more silliness. We had roughly 5 practices all season. Numerous significant injuries to our best players (Chauncey, CP3,Blake and Butler) hell we added half the roster after the shortend season started. We still won game 7 in Memphis (in their building with injuries, and beat the team who was supposed to be one of the best this year in the WC) How did Vinny fail? How did you expect him to implement an offense with 5 practices and loads of injuries. I mean c'mon Foye was our starting 2 for the second half of the year. The offense and D will be much more consistent next year simply because they'll have more practices prior to the pre-season than they had all last season. Please be sensable guys

So bottomline it,,what was the point of this thread? Rile people up? Increase post counts (hey,,I just bumped mine up by one). I can't even understand the point,,let alone the answer. I did hang around the late 60s/early 70s too much
