The NBA released the top selling jerseys internationally for the first time and Blake is 9th. That's pretty big for the Clippers and he's above a couple international players such as Pau and Dirk and he's even above Durant!

2011-12 Top Selling Jerseys Internationally

  1. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers (BOOOOOO!)

  2. Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls

  3. LeBron James, Miami Heat

  4. Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics

  5. Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic

  6. Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat

  7. Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics

  8. Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks

9. Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers

  1. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder

  2. Pau Gasol, Los Angeles Lakers

  3. Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks

9th isn't a big feat. When he's top 5 then let's start talking. And that's just internationally, not in the US.

I actually just hope he works on his jump shot (and his free throw shooting).

His jerseys will be probably 7th or better at the end of next season easily. I am sure people were pumped about him when he finally played and started kicking butts, but now that were more than relevant and in a giant market ( with a lot of ties to foreign countries ) I am sure his jersey sales will shoot up. I'll be buying one shortly, I just hope they have the Stars throwbacks still available.

What's odd is Derrick Rose being the biggest star in the NBA

Hm.

Bulls play in a big market, he won the MVP last year. I'm shocked he's #1in the US but a lot of people across the country tend to buy Bulls jerseys among other teams because of the past history. If you just wanna rock out the Bulls colors, Laker colors, Raider colors etc you tend to just buy the best player on the teams jersey.

Ths isnt surprising at all! Kobe Lebron Wade and Durant will always be top sellers because they are the biggest names in basketball. Rose just one MVP so his star is all shiney and everyone wants a piece, especially people living in chicago who need to update their jordan jersey. Dirk just won the championship, his star is all shiney and popular. Carmelo is basically on a new team this season so Knicks fans all have a new super star to latch on to at the beginnning of the season. And Lin, well, theres a lot of asians in America..... The next two are guys who are among the most exiting to watch in their given conferences.

I will almost gaurentee that CP3 will be up there next year.

I know but you know you'd think Lebron or Kobe would be first

I don't think I ever expected Derrick Rose to be a bigger star than Lebron James but hey it's happening

I honestly thought Kobe. Lebron is hated so I wouldn't think him #1. I would also think Durant would have potentially been #1.
