A deandre jordan and eric bledsoe plus a future 1st makes a lot of sense for orlando. A young center with a lot of promise plus a young point guard with a ton of potential. It would be tough for them to pass on that trade.

This just some website that is not credible at all.

This article states, 'The Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and possibly the Los Angeles Clippers are among the teams that have engaged in talks with the Magic, according to the Post.

Possibly and according to the post ruins this rumors

I don't know if you are aware, but we CAN'T trade DeAndre before the one year from him signing has expired, which is December. We can only trade him with his consent and I doubt he will agree to be traded to Orlando!

That and Howard would be off to Brooklyn as a FA in a year even IF this trade came to fruition.

Key components that give us favor. -What makes you think he wouldnt go to the magic if he was willing to play for the warriors?

-Nets are in the process of trading for joe johnson, with that trade they wouldnt have the enough money to sign him as a free agent. And they just offer gerald wallace a 40 mil contract over the next for yrs. they traded their pick fro this year and all they have to offer is Lopez(injury prone) and brooks

-Lakers have some interest in howard, but seems kinda reluctant to part from andrew bynum and seem more focused on shopping Gasol at the moment and have key positions they need to be filled (PG & SF)

-Clippers can make a run at him, because Dwights stock isnt as high because hes and expiring contract, back injury, and seeking legal action to nullify his option because of false promises given prior to picking it up.

(DJ'Butler,bledsoe, future 1st rounder) > (Lopez & Brooks)

the best package available is Bynum + whatever. DJ + Bledsoe is not as good as Bynum.

But the Lakers may not be willing to move Bynum and it seems clear that we have a better package to offer than Brooklyn does.

If Brooklyn loses out this summer and they trade for Joe Johnson, that's it done deal, they will not be able to have the cap space to sign D12 next summer.

If you're Orlando, would you really be interested in Brook Lopez and Marshon Brooks in a trade for the best C in the game? It's a terrible package and they've already moved a bunch of their 1st round picks.

I think Bledsoe, Trey, and DJ + a 1st round pick is about as good as it gets for them if they want cheap young talent.

We'd be the favorite for the ship if this gets done. CP3, Blake, and Dwight Howard on one team. That is ridiculous and it is entirely possible that we can get it done with those pieces.

Clippers source already came out and said that if either Blake or CP are involved in talks there is nothing here. Which they are, therefore nothing will happen.

this is not a reliable rumor. first ive heard of this. it sounds like a ploy by the magic to see who can give them the best deal available. howard already came out and said that he would only extend with one team. now, that could change if the brooklyn nets dont manage to keep dwill. than that would change the situation. but for now, he seems intent on playing in brooklyn. even if the rumor was true, why give up prospects when howard wont sign an extension to stay here. doesnt make sense.

Know what this reminds me of? Last season when I thought the Hornets were using us to jack up their price for CP3 with the Lakers. Well, that ended with us getting Chris, so I'm not going to completely discount the idea that we might legitimately be going after Dwight.

Unfortunately, I don't think its going to happen for all of the various reasons stated above. I think that Orlando would still want at least Blake (who is untouchable for more reasons than his stat line).

Also, if this trade COULD possibly go down, I'd imagine a very angry letter from Dan Gilbert or Mark Cuban to set David Stern straight. Guess what guys, we've arrived, and now we're going to be treated like the rest of the big boys.

Did anybody else notice how quickly everyone in the league turned on us last season after being "most fans' 2nd favorite team" for about a month?

Joe, I hope the Atlanta/Nets deal goes down, than that one place for Howard goes down the drain. Perfect ending to this silly reality show..

You me both. Howard has just surpassed LeBron and his "Decision".

I think the Nets are just tired of all of this and now have a star if Deron and Howard decide to go elsewhere.

yeah no doubt it's a terrible contract. but I think Brooklyn HAD to do it. they needed star power and they didn't feel like playing games with Howard anymore.

ATL can finally start their rebuild now. Maybe now that johnson is gone, smith would want to stay there cause he'll be the big man. all they need is a center, and they'll have a nice team going forward.

If we get D12. I gaurantee the Clippers will win the title. Barring any injuries. This is a no brainier. Could u imagine BG, CP3, D12 and Lamar Odom. A big 3 plus a 6 man of the year. Vinny would be the next Spolestra. He wouldn't even have to coach the players can do it themselves. I wouldnt care if they were surrounded by a bunch of D League players. They would win the title. Even if it's for 1 year who cares the Clips would win the title. Who would stop us. Lakers would be reeling for years. D12 and Cp3 would go nowhere. We would be the team not 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 titles. I would say we win 5 titles in 6 years. Veterans would swarm to come play with the Clips. If the Lakers get D12. I can see them winning 1 or 2 titles. So buy grabbing him we would change the future of both franchises. The Clips need to throw everything possible. No one would stop us. Could u imagine. I would be in basketball heaven minus Vinny of course.

Sounds like the deal for DH12 would hinge on them getting either BG or CP3. No way should that happen. Rentahoward for either player would be the stupidest mover ever by our FO.

basically. plus they don't have enough money. they gave away like 4 or 5 players in the johnson trade. they don't even have enough players to trade, I don't think.

Wow, is this like, an actual possibility? Lakers like Bynum more than Howard (for good reason) and Howard doesn't like Kobe (also for good reason). Rockets have the best trade, but no way in hell Dwight will stick around, so they're not going to mortgage their assets on that sinking ship. Orlando wants to be rid of the guy and his stock is pretty low. We have a few decent rebuilding chips for them.

I mean, holy sh*t, but I think I have to agree with ClipperSam.

Never thought that would happen.

DH will be a Clipper By next week... The Magic now how a tough decision to make. They have to decide if they want to trade For Andrew Bynum whos a proven player but that's all they'll be getting, or would they rather build with young talent and have multiple players... Every team with in the Last 6 years has went the route of "Multi-Player" Deals... For example Ray Allen was traded for multiple players, KG, Carmelo, CP3 , (today) Joe Johnson, and many more.. Teams that trade their star players are almost forced to go into rebuild mode and they want 3 things Young players, Picks, and Cap space... We can offer that, so it will be done
