I hate this guy more than any player in the NBA outside of Andre Miller but if they can get it done without Dwight... you'd have to take the chance I suppose.

Man, I just wouldn't be able to see BG and DH performing in the low post together. Someone's production would have to go down.

I agree Blake wouldn't develop way we want but I'd rather them win 3 rings together than have all time great stats.

LOL This is a joke. To even insinuate that BG will be part of the deal is just plain ignorant.

Maybe someone's production goes down, but the wins will go up and that's the most important stat of all.

I dissagree I think both of there stats would sky rocket. Think about who would want to stand underneath the basket to get dunked on. The lane would even get more open. have you seen when BG throws a lob to DJ. Could you Imagine hime throwing it to D12 and then D12 faking the dunk and sometimes even throwing back a lob. It would be mad. Super Lob City. Also BG could shoot those 15 footers like crazy knowing. He had Superman to grab the rebounds if he missed. Man that tandem alone would be unstoppable. Then Imagine CP3 Drilling the outside shot. Minimum 3-5 Titles. Wow we could only dream....

Imagine if BOTH CP3 and Dwight walk in free agency though? To get two top 5 players then lose them like that would be a death blow to the Clippers organization. Setback for 10 years.

The best Center in the league with the Best Point Guard in the league, with the Best Power Forward in the league (arguably).. That would be beyond Insanity.

Don't see it happening tho.

^yup. and like i mentioned in the other post on the other d12 trade talk thread, its not a certainty we would win a title with the big 3. for one, unless the hack a howard rule is banned, clipper games would go longer than lawrence of arabia. i know bg will improve on his ft's, but idk if howard will ever be a decent ft shooter. the 2nd reason, our bench will be s***.

^ I doubt they would walk away after bringing home there first title ever.

And you know fu*K it. If it only lasted one year and they brought us the title.

I wouldn't care if they left at that point.

Because I doubt they would even think about it.

But if they did.

I would thank them for bringing us our first Titile ever and move on and rebuild with our Star Blake Griffin.

I Love having CP3 and I would love to have D12.

But at the end of the day the only person I would hate to lose honestly is BG.

BG to me feels like the only true Clipper and hes here for at least the next 5.

Same was said about the BIG 3 in Miami. I gaurantee you hands down the Clips win a titile with CP3, BG and Superman.

Hands down.

I gaurantee you they would be the favorites in Vegas.

There would be no 2nd.

The Games would be out of reach to have to worry about freethrows.

No one would stop us...

I do not want dwight I'm sorry. He's not worth it. For one I love Jordan, I can see him becoming a DOMINATE center! He just needs to develop his game a bit more. See what he does during the season see how much he improves. F*** dwight. He's washed up, I'm waaay over him.

How do we afford it? Does this work?

DON'T TRADE E BLED. We need and can't find a Kamanesque center. One who has 70%ft + and can shoot outside 15 ft +

BG actually has more promise than Howard. His shot blocking and D improved and his jumper is getting there. I think they're the same player.

DJ $10 mil Butler $8 mil Gomes $4 mil amnesty EB $1 mil

They get a mediocre center and a back up PG

actually... If we pulled that trade and amnestied Ryan Gomes we'd have a bit of cap room to sign a couple of free agents, Re-sign Billups/Young and still have our MLE and BAE. Players would be flocking to the Clippers with potential like that..

Starters: Chris Paul Chauncey Billups Nick Young Blake Griffin Dwight Howard

Bench: Lamar Odom Jamal Crawford (or Ray Allen) Travis Leslie Trey Thompkins

we'd have no problem finding a back up pg, sf or center... though we would lose our MLE to Crawford or Allen.. Still the possibilities are bananas.

lol. and about 10 more years at least of misery. i mean, this trade might give us a title, but unless we let howard go his way after the season, like houston is willing to do, we will be financially crippled. i mean we can hope we find a gerald green type of talent in the nbdl, but i doubt they are dime a dozen.

If the Clippers had Blake Griffin, D12 and CP3 and they all got paid, I'm not sure why CP3 and D12 would leave. I mean, how would they be able to replicate a situation like that? Although, I'm not sure how we can offer all 3 a max contract too.

Howard is just off back surgery. He's a rental. Blake and Howard (I hope BG improves) cant's shoot FT's. Duncan/Robinson were finesse players who didn't get in each other's was BG and D12 are power players and to quote the Highlander "There can only be one"

I've said this before. I value EB and the DJ you believe in before D12 as a rental especially. Where's our back up center? What about Nick Young or our SF? Let him go to the Lakers and sniff Kobe's butt for a year.

E Bled can give you 15ppg sometimes 20 and is a great defender. There are several centers I'd prefer (but can't get) Jefferson. Gortat, Chandler!!!!. Nowitski yes. Dirk, Marc Gasol. Much better fits

D12 is not our savior.

He may be a freaking crybaby diva worst than Lebron but how is the Top Center in the NBA washed up??? Yeah most of us don't like him because of his recent actions but name 2012 NBA All !st Defensive Team and averages 20+ points a game, washed up, care to explain...?

Well sure...but it's not a given that would even happen. I'm of a mind that the Clippers will have a better chance of winning the whole thing when BG explodes into the best power forward in the game.

If BG can still do that with Howard in the lineup, I'm cool with it. But I think a center with a shooting touch would still be a better fit for Blake.

With Howard and Griffin in the lane, we'd get every board and it would be even more of a dunk fest. The Clippers would need to surround them with some gunners from behind the arc and we'd be very tough to stop. Oh, I'm pretty sure VDN would not be able to handle the egos on the team as well...time to bring Phil Jackson out of retirement.
