Here is a funny quote from Dunleavy from an interview about Kaman sitting out the rest of the season:

Dunleavy also said it is not certain that Kaman is done, even though the center told reporters he would be out the rest of the season.

Dunleavy was asked if he conferred with Kaman about his injury status.

"Why would I ask him?" Dunleavy said. "He doesn't know what he's talking about."

Here is an update on Livingston:

Livingston's value: The Clippers expect to retain Shaun Livingston for next season, but the only question will be for how much. They could easily keep him by making a qualifying offer before July 1 and pay him $5.8 million next season.

However, Livingston has missed the entire season, and his durability is a question mark. There is a chance the Clippers will not make a qualifying offer and negotiate a lesser salary. If they do that, however, he would be an unrestricted free agent that is able to sign with any other team.

About Livi: I think he should show some love for the team and give up to this $6 million we should pay him...$6 million is too much for a player who is a mistery since we don't know if he'll be able to play again at a professional level...It seems he will be a injury prone player his whole career and it will be a high risk operation for any team to sign him a contract

I hate to say it guys but in the offchance he can't play, he can use the $6mill. Sorry but what else is he going to do with his life if he can't play? It's not like he has marketable skills.

Actually I read an article about Livi, and apprently he has invested all his cash very well and is basically in a position to be Ok financially. Apparently he also has some investments/interests in movie, a la EB.

I'm okay with him getting the $6 mil- for 3 years.... That would only be fair. Or $4 mil for 2 years.

his health is a question but i feel that we have yet to see his full potential. so i say, take a risk and give him one more shot. if he gets injured again, then it's time to throw in the towel.

If he can at least come back to where he was before getting injured, that would be great. I mean he was nothing spectacular, but good enough if we have a consistent shooter at SG. I just want ONE consistent shooter at SG and one consistent PG who can make some shots once in a while. Someone who will make the opposition pay for trying to load up defensively on us inside. With EB and Kaman back, I think our inside defense is covered. We'll need youth and hopefully Q-Ross next year to defend on the perimeter. Mobley and Knight arent gonna be able to defend outside. We need fresh legs.

But I say let him have a chance, and hopefully for less than the 6 mil or whatever.

Oh yeah we definitely need a healthy Shaun back. His court vision, size, and passing are pretty darn special, but that's been more than offset by his injuries, of course. I just hope both parties can agree upon a fair deal and he'll be back with us for the next few years.

I agree, I am looking forward to more Shaun. HIs last game before the injury he had something like 14 assists. His best game as a pro. Maybe it was a tease but I though he was just getting to the point of being a productive PG. Maybe he won't be Chris Paul, but I think it's worth an investment.

Plus he appears to be loyal to LAC, so having a few of those guys around always helps.

Even if we get lucky and draft Derrick Rose, we still can use Brevin Knight and Shaun at PG, as well as using Shaun and Rose at SG. So the versatility works there. Now if we can get a good big guy in the 2nd round and a FA Outside Shooter, I'd say we're on the right track. Even if we dont get lucky and can draft a guy like Eric Gordon, then we could sign a guy like Arroyo or Navarro and still use Shaun and Brevin. So as long as the Clips make some smart decisions, we'll be rolling again.
