This is good but I just hope he knows that defense and free throws take priority over working too much on 20-footers/mid-range all summer.

Definitely good to see him getting advice from one of the best mid-range scorers in the game, but ClipperSean is right... that jumpshot has to get better for these moves to become effective.

I remember before Blake got drafted, he said in an interview that he wanted to model his game after Melo. Look at him now!

His form looks good. Do the mechanics right and hitting the basket is an afterthought. it will get there.

Happy to report that I'm watching the scrimmage on NBAtv right now and Blake shot two free throws and I noticed he's working on his hitch. Looks a lot more fluid than before. Went 1/2 but the results will come.

I read somewhere, I think ESPN, that Coach k has Blake working on Defense, hitting open shots and rebounding.

I'll have to find the article.

Blake's gonna come into next season a monster

Man with DJ and Blake improved next season they will be our BIG 3. And haters of DJ, there's no chance, ok no chance that DJ isn't gonna come back better this season! He's working with so many coaches, and I am so excited about this

this brings a smile to my face. if dj and bg make significant strides in their game, the clips can contend for a title.

Man if BG can add a consistent midrange j to his game, and a nice step back/pull up he'll be unguardable.

If I'm remembering correctly, with both the Olympics in 2008 and the World Championships in 2010, a lot of the guys from team USA came back and had big years in the NBA. Let's hope that happens with BG.

Thats a nice thing that melo did. You could tell blake was paying attention. He has a good jumper but he doesnt trust it. His hesitation and indecisiveness is making him miss.

I hope that once the Olympics are over, Blake teaches DJ what he learned at the Olympics from his peers.

i think both bg and cp3 will increase the intensity of clipper practices this season. this can only help increase our level this season. i cant wait for the season to start, right after team usa wins the gold.

This is the reason why I have been asking for a real coach. A real coach teaches. Not just in games. But when we arnt watching. I gaurantee Blake is learning more in a few days than he has in 2 years under Vinny. Could u guys imagine what DJ would be like if he had a real coach 2 teach him. The effect a coach has on ones development is Invaluable. You spend major money on players and u don't want I spend to bring the right teachers. That is coaching.
