I was watching the ESPY's last night and was wondering why they had Team USA with everyone but Griffin. Not sure if anyone caught that but I had a funny feeling things weren't right.

Why do I feel that the thread dedicated to talking about all the money Blake made somehow jinxed him...

Yikes.... Hopefully it's not too bad- I think that's the case and they're just being cautious because if it's really bad there'd probably be more chatter about it on its severity.

Well, that's great news for a Thursday morning. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed its nothing serious. But the fact he came back to LA to get examined is not a good sign, IMO.

I'm not entirely sold on this until another source confirms it. Twitter's been filled with imposters lately.

Ekker, WOJ is GOD as far as being the most reliable source when it comes to the NBA. In WOJ I trust...Is all I'm saying.

This isn't a two bit blogger trying to get more followers, this is the guy that never speaks unless it's been confirmed.

Edit:

This isn't a fake account, Ekker.

The EJ one I posted was what I got second hand. I follow WOJ.

Dan Woike:

"Think I saw the play where Blake hurt his knee on TV. Looked hobbled, but not too bad. Maybe I'm an optimist. Or maybe, it wasn't that play"

This is what I hate about guys who rely on their athleticism. After a major knee injury they're done. BG really needs to focus on practicing his mid range jumper and post moves.

Wow, you life must really be horrible to decide to spend time creating a account just to troll on another's misfortune.

Must be a Lakers fan still hurt that they couldn't get the player they wanted when that Player doesn't even want to play for the Lakers.

Life must be hard knowing no one wants to go there anymore.

Got a feeling it's not that serious based on early reports, but what sucks is there's a strong possibility we won't see Blake dunking on the foreigners in the Olympics with CP3 lobs Sad

He'll be fine I'm sure. I, for one, hope he sits out the tournament and allows himself to rest and look forward to the season. Wouldn't mind CP sitting out either although obviously he has no reason to.....knock on wood.

PS was the 'injured knee in game 5" the injury that Grizzlies fans booed him for "faking" or was that game 7?

Doesn't sound to serious to me if they didn't worry about it until he woke up with swelling today.

Maybe sitting the Olympics out might not be a bad idea especially after inking that max deal. with the money aside, BG doesn't deserve this kind of misfortune... F#$C!!!!!!

You have no Idea. There have been players with a torn ACL who played their game till the end, and when they woke up next day with a big swelling it was the sign of highest danger.

But lets hope the best. Dont wanna spread panic and hope its only what it looks like... just saying that it could be also a sign for the worst.

It wouldn't surprise me if DeMarcus Cousins pulled a Tonya Harding here.

If it's swollen, this should be injury to the outer ligaments and not the ACL or MCL. Since they did not report it to be serious when it happened, I doubt it's major tear to the LCL or MCL, which leaves almost no seriously damageable parts in the knee. I would say something with one of the tendons.

Of course it depends where was it swollen and how much. As for the comment that players finished games with torn ACL, you seem to have no idea of the human knee. I've had a torn ACL and you can hardly walk the moment it gets torn, never mind playing. Even a minor tear is painful!

^Actually a major tear is easier to walk on and less painful then a minor tear. If you completely blow through your ACL it hurts but you are able to walk off afterwards. It is the cutting that is impossible. The minor tears are the more painful tears because you struggle walking and knee becomes locked.
