| The Hornets are actually struggling a little but they will be looking to take it out on the Clippers tonight. With Q Ross back to try and slow down Chris Paul, I think we can give it a good battle and maybe even get a win. I wonder if Kaman will be able to play? Go Clips! |

No more wins for the season...............otherwise my prediction will be tainted!!!!!
Plus we are past the point where more lottery balls are better
And I would like Sacramento to pull off the upset if at all possible |

| Hornet's defense. Why were our pockets picked. Why was EB stripped3? times (the constant double not withstanding) No disrespect to EB |

Yeah the Hornets just swarmed the Clippers in that 3rd quarter with defensive pressure leading to turnovers leading to layups and open 3's. I don't think Dunleavy really wanted to win this one though because he never called timeout at the start or during the big Hornet run. It's understandable because we don't really want to win more games.
I liked the first half though- good passing- 16 assists. Al had another good game. EB really struggled against a taller center and constant double teams. It's his first bad game amazingly. The coaching staff really needs to come up with better reaction-plays when guys are double-teamed in the post. Constantly I'm seeing the opponents double-teaming the Clipper low-post threat (whether it be EB or Cat) without paying for it. Usually the ball is just kicked right back out and the defense is able to rotate that guy quickly. I think guys need cut hard to the hoop upon any double team, and the post player must be ready to give the cutter the ball. |
