Somewhat interesting article in the Orange County Register today. The Clippers were able to recover about $6 million from insurance on Brand's missed playing time.
But the most interesting is that if they DID NOT bring EB back for the final 8 games, insurance would have paid an extra $1.5 million. So it cost LAC $1.5M to play him the last 8 games when they were out of the PO race.
Some may call that stupid, but I call it giving back to the fans and letting EB play if he wants to ... regardless of the bottom line.
KUDOS TO LAC MANAGEMENT FOR THIS DECISION!

| I agree ether. I think it was also in Brand's character to want to play regardless of lack of benefits. |

| I agree. He has a new team to get used to. I really wanted to see haw he, thornton, and caveman would have played but its still great none the less |
