That guy was a BEAST when he played against the Clippers the other night. He averaged 11 points and 12 rebounds in the 5 games. It would be smart to lock him up to a 2 or 3 year contract for cheap if possible.

BTW, welcome to Clippers Topbuzz, Efren!

really? i only heard l.a. flakers & the knicks and/or retiring. i got that info from Eric Pincus. no other team was mention. there was writers saying miami but was no truth to it. just the 2 teams hill said himself. clips wasn't one of them. but thank god he came here anyway. thanks CP3! Smile

He's basically a younger, more athletic and skilled version of Reggie Evans. Would probably be a better pickup than Hollins.

Thomas is the only FA from the all summer league team. We can offer a sweet situation but ATL and CHI are also interested.

How do summer league players work? He played for the Bulls so wouldn't they get first dibs on him? I really like this kid, I hyped him on another CTB post a couple of days ago, no one seemed interested. He's got great athleticism, really good hands, and makes good decisions. I didn't recall any midrange game, and can't understand why this guy hasn't been picked up yet, he averaged double double in D League last year. I wish we could have picked him up when we went with Simmons, perhaps it was an experience thing, but I don't get why no one has picked this kid up. There's got to be a reason.

He's a FA same as some of the players on our Summer league team; i.e., Morrison, white, Armstrong. Any team can sign any of the players that are FA. ~Ebled, Thompkins, leslie are not FA's. Get what i'm sayin

As are the Bobcats. As intimidating as the Bobcats are, they may be able to offer up more playing time. + you could probably get a ton of autographs and lessons from Michael Jordan.

Malcolm Thomas father was an honorable mention All-American basketball player at Missouri and drafted in the sixth round of the 1985 NBA Draft by the Clippers.(121st pick overall) BUT....

he was wasn't able make the roster and never got to play in the NBA

maybe he'll prefer to play with the clips cuz his dad or something ...LoL idk just saying

Well, I am not a Laker fan so yes its pretty easy to understand. I hope Clips get him solid developmental guy, Clips could use some more young guys that they can leverage for future either playing or trading. All the older players are great but not too much as far as investment potential.

I really liked this guy. I wish the clippers would pick him up. He looked like a man among boys. I saw a little LeBron in him. Any team picking this guy up will be lucky. Hopefully the Clips can snag him first.

I saw him live plenty of times at San Diego State. I met him a few times, genuine guy, real good work ethic. I really hope we pick him up. He would be a great role player, I think he could fit in at PF or SF. Maybe I'm biased...
