please, as optimistic as we should be, just be realistic, guys.
Some trade ideas posted on this forum are too ridiculous.
I think for a good season, we don't need to add multiple superstars to become a legit team.
Trades such a corey maggette for hedo simply doesnt make sense because the magic would never do that.
Baron davis to the clippers? no.
if there's speculation about a player, then yea, like gilbert, but it's still a longshot.
I say focus on our draft pick, and just rock it next season.
I kno i may be a pessimist for saying the above, but cmon guys.
I just hope this offseason, we get a GOOD DRAFT PICK(HOPEFULLY O.J MAYO, but eric gordon is chill too), and MAYBE sign 1/2 free agents. If a blockbuster happens, then BONUS points for the clippers.
I'll just say if you guys propose a possible trade, do your research. compare the skills of the players and realistically look at their situation. I kno it's a forum and it doesn't mean anything, but let's have a sophisticated conversation. Thanks, and keep up the clipper spiritttt |

| Dude, Ya mean there ain't no Santa Claus? Realism starts with Corey. He said he wants out. Unless the pot's real sweet he's gone and it's better for the team. We've had two crappy seasons. It doesn't matter why. If we want good players now we have to PAY. Baron no way. Hedo no way. Ellis - No. We have yet to test the Corey market and only by trading him will we have anything. Who wants him is the question. Hinrich AND Deng no way. Not even Deng probably not even Kurt- But Kurt for #50 - do it in a minute. For Calderon + Kopono-Heaven. For Calderon - Yes and a better team. You can't have a good team and #50 too. Pick your poison. Pick your S&T. If we had had good seasons and he could start, we'd have Sasha. Will EB stay or we let him go and totally rebuild. Lots of space, no #42, no#50. We have Thornton. |

Just when you think trades are too ridiculous to happen, they do. Kwame brown for Pau Gasol? Are you kidding me?
Im just hoping Elgin can pull something off this year. I will again, like I do every year, put my faith in that senile, old man. |
