Hello all. I'm considering on becoming a season ticket holder for 12/13 but can't go to all the games. I am planning to purchase two tickets to the mid 300 center sections and am wondering if I will be able to sell most of my tickets and go to just a few of them. I am looking to go to 10 or less games. Is there a market to resell them on stub-hub or any of the secondary market? Thanks in advance!

I don't need to go to the premium games since those are probably the easiest to sell. And if I wait until next year, will there still be any season tickets available?

I sell a lot of my extra tickets on Craigslist, but it is a pain. **** takes too much of a cut if you sell through them. You might ask the Clippers about their mini-plans. They have some 10 game plans that include the popular teams like the Lakers, Heat, Knicks, etc... That might be more what you're looking for. I would also recommend you go for the 200 section as the view from the 300's in the Staples Center is pretty horrible.

At my pick-a-seat this year (probably a month and a half ago), there weren't too many available seats that weren't singles and I got a pretty early appointment. You better call them soon if you want tickets.

Yeah, i hate how **** takes a big cut out of your sales. So they don't have any pair of seats side-by except in the 300 levels. I was considering the mini-game plans, but they don't guarantee you those same exact seats during the playoffs.

So when you went to the pick-a-seat event, there weren't too many available seats to choose from that are pairs. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and just get them now. I just don't want to miss out if they'll be sold out next season.

Thanks for your feedback.

I have mid level 200 seats. I don't know how much of a bargain 300 level seats are,,but 200s are good although I think the lower bowl is sold out ,,but that is the key. I will be able to sell them for under face value which will be more then I paid for them. To turn a profit though you have to sell big games and go to the smaller ones.. You have to sell your Boston, Miami and Laker etc. LAker fans(and Boston fans) are buffoons and will pay 3 times what you paid for it,,so if you can take going to just one and selling the other............

I like to go to games on weekends though,,driving to Staples makes my nuts,,so I have a tendency to sell off all weekday games no matter what. Selling through stub-hub is easy though,,I am not sure the Clips are linked into is as the Dodgers are but it makes selling a breeze.

My pick-a-seat day was like in early July I believe so that was a couple months ago actually, but there didn't seem to be too many seats next to each other that were available. Granted, people may have given up their seats to move into other sections so seats free up all the time. The only way to really know is to call one of the reps and ask for what is available. And I would definitely go with 200 section if there's something available.

Actually, I just checked and my pick-a-seat day this year was actually in early June. Wow, it's been 3 months now. Definitely check what they've got as soon as possible if you want in on Clipper Nation. You already missed the Galaxy Game, Dodger night, and the free Dark Knight Rises showing they held for the season ticketholders. The Donald may be cheap when it comes to his management and players, but he's quite generous to the fans with all these fan appreciation events. Lakers season ticketholders get squat except for the honor of being Lakers season ticketholders...after about a 5 year waiting list and another 3 years of time in the 300's section that is.
