Hey all,

I updated the 2013 Free Agent list:

CP3 and Dwight Howard are easily the top names . . .

http://www.hoopsworld.com/2013-nba-free-agents/

Lots and lots of names and numbers many won't hit free agency because of team options (Kyrie Irving) but it's comp-re-hen-sive!

Thanks

Eric

Dallas is going to go balls out for both CP3 and Dwight Howard. They have an absurd amount of cap space clearing after this year and could probably make more room.

We should ink Billups, and if not try to get Martin!

Why do some people think the clippers should go out and sign or trade for a big name PG if Chris leaves? I'd rather let Bledsoe run the show.

Anyways, since it's nearly guaranteed that Chris Paul will stay, I'd love to see Tony Allen play here. A backcourt consisting of two of the best defenders in the league? Yes please. Other than him I'm not too interested in next year's FA class. The clippers will have to pay 21m to CP, 19m to BG, 11 to DJ, 5 to JC, 8 to Butler... so we probably won't see any big additions next year.

I don't like Allen's lack of perimeter shooting, I'd rather have Billups for the 3-4 years he has left!

Wall can't shoot you're right but Rondo is just as bad at shooting. He's still my top option though if CP3 becomes ALLME3

Lets send DJ & Future draft picks to the Lakers in a sign and trade for Dwight Howard! Very Happy

Dwight Howard is already tainted by the Lakers, i would rather get Horford from the Hawks because im sure he feels disrespected from all of the earlier Howard talks.

John Wall can shoot and people need to actually think a bit before they post. Wall was pretty much the only scoring option on the Wizards and its HIS team. Nick Young and Jordan Crawford at best are streaky shooters. How many 4-16 games did these guys have the last couple of years? Wall has been on a massively horrible team, and YES he has taken bad shots but when you know for a fact that nobody is going to pass the ball, Wall was looked at and had designed plays for him to take it to the rim.

Wall plays good defense, his numbers alone have been impressive. He's also a helluva shot blocker for a PG. If Wall played on a team that was around .500 or better, his FG% would climb 3-6 points easily, which would put him at a better overall shooting %. He's still young, and he's pretty much been given free reign to do w/e he wants on the floor. Bad coaching and a horrible team will kill your FG% numbers.

Regardless, Wall is going to remain a Wizard for a very long time. Secondly, we have Bledsoe. And I think management realizes that losing Chris Paul is a possibility. It would be devastating and SUPER sh!tty for him to do that, but this is why Bledsoe is going to have an increased role this year. This is why Olshey refused to trade Bledsoe. Bledsoe is our insurance and he WILL be our starting PG if CP3 gets hurt or leaves. All of that extra cap room we'd get if Chris Paul leaves would be to stock up our roster. Remember, 17-20 million dollars off the books really gives a team a lot of wiggle room to go after players they could really use.

I think it's 70-30 that CP3 stays. And I think it's safe to say that John Wall will easily put up 16-19 PPG, 7-8.5 assists and probably increase his FG% this year. The kid wasn't taken #1 in the draft for no reason.

i rather get monta ellis paired up with cp3, Monta played his best ball with a true point guard, cp3 would do wonder for him, Monta is a player that when hes hot, you pretty much cant stop him.

I don't think the Bucks wanna let go of him, that Jennings-Ellis duo is very good!

they may not necessarily want him to go, but he's any unrestricted free agent, and can go wherever he wants, its not like the bucks could anything other than offer the most money, and even though we may not be able to offer him the most money contract wise, he would make that up in endorsement from playing in a big market. And im sure he much rather play on a contending team than struggling to get out of the lottery

Don't know about that, they just got Henson, but still not as good as us, is he an upcoming free agent?

I would love Monta, he is probably the biggest Clipper killer. We already nabbed some great Clipper Killers in Jamal and Hill.

I think we can free up some cap for him without totally crippling our financial stability!

What about DeAndre, Bledsoe, and Caron for Monta, Illyasova, and Udoh?

Looking like deng will go to Atlanta, and I'm sure we can't get Ariza. This blows. We need better small forwards.
