With a victory the Clippers can climb over Golden State in the standings- so this is a big game against a very beatable team. Let's see if Shaun can step it up against Baron Davis.

The Clippers simply got outhustled after taking a 84-82 lead in the 4th. After missing outside jumpers they allowed the Warriors to race to the other end for layups. Also I don't understand why Kaman wasn't put back in the game- Biedrins was just killing them by grabbing all the rebounds and loose balls inside. I guess once panic-mode set in it affected the coach's decision-making also.

With both Cassell and Mobley again struggling w/ their shot (11 out of 30 combined) it's tough for the Clippers to win. The last game they combined for 6 out of 21 and we all knew how that turned out.

Great game by Ross though- he played great D on Baron Davis + chipped in with 16 points to boot. Brand & Maggette had solid games. Corey really needs to work on those post entry passes- he needs to be aware of guys looking for the steal. It's frustrating to see him get duped making those passes.

Tim Thomas didn't play- is he injured? Livingston tweaked his ankle and didn't play in the 2nd half, so that didn't help matters either.

Yeah, this loss was not good at all. As I stated before, the Clips need to start winning 2 out of 3 games to climb back into the playoffs. It seems like we are going half and half. That wont cut it. Our weaknesses are starting to be exploited. Good to see Q-Ross have a good game. The bottom line is this team is playing way too inconsistent. It's like in the movie Rat Race when the rich people are making bets on practically everything...they could take bets on who will have a good game....

Yeah I think the Clippers can really benefit by a quick penetrating PG who is a legit scoring threat- someone like a TJ Ford, Brevin Knight, Chris Paul, etc. Monta Ellis from Golden State looked really good too. We need a PG who plays like Maggette in terms of trying to penetrate but is a natural PG. Shaun is a natural PG and is quick for his size but he's below average when it comes to PG quickness. Sam is more of a perimeter threat- he's crafty but obviously he's never been quick. Ewing can penetrate but he prefers to shoot from outside plus he has more of a SG mentality.

We better win tomorrow against the Warriors- I think the guys will come out and play hard.

BTW apparently Tim Thomas had a bad ear infection- hopefully he'll be available tomorrow.
