ehhhhh, I'm not a huge fan of Tyreke. He did have a great rookie year but since then he's been a ballhog with an average jumpshot.

But I do wonder what our roster will look like next year. Assuming Paul re-signs, the clippers will already have close to 70 milion on the books. Will DTS pay tax next year or will the team have to sign a bunch of minimum contracts?

Tyreke evans pass wold be horrible off the ball from chris paul. He cant shoot what so ever. Why as a player tyreke has shown no improvment since his rookie year, its simple they moved him to sg. He is a ball dominant pg that will never win in this league. He lacks the passing skills to be a pg and the shooting skills of a two guard.

^^^ Yeah, I agree on Evans, except I think his jump shot is actually below average. I don't see him ever being much better than what he is now. He doesn't shoot well enough to be a great SG and doesn't pass of facilitate well enough to be a great PG. Not that I'd be outraged or anything if he wound up on the Clips one day, but there's a lot of players I'd rather have.

All he does is drive and have pretty good defense!

Tyreke Evans could be a great 2guard but he's not a good shooter and as a terrible time when trying to drive with his left hand. He's rookie season he did great, but by his second year, teams began to figure out his glaring weaknesses and adjust to him, similar to what happened to Blake Griffin last season. He's still only about 22 or 23 so it would be awesome to have that kind of youth and talent on our squad.

I dont think its so much about teams figuring out his game, alot of his struggle come from health, a lack of a jump shot, a dysfunctional team that arent sure how to use tyreke evans, and they tend to experiement with him at the 1,2, 3 postions. Tyreke evans would benefit with a veteran team that can teach him some things, show him how to play hi strengths instead trying to force the issue.

Side note: teams didnt figure out how to stop Blake griffin, although his points dipped slightly his percentage increase, additonally he actually improved hi jumpshot the second half of the season

I'd attribute his improved fg percentage to having the best point guard in the league find him for open looks, and set him up for oops. From watching actual gameplay, I'd say teams definitely adjusted to his limited arsenal of post moves. His little spin move that he loved to do so much got figured out and shut down by most teams, forcing him to find new ways to score. Anybody who watched him play last season would admit that he wasn't nearly as dominant or aggressive last season as he was in the season before.

Not sure how you define dominant or aggressive, but he improved all around last year, except for his FT shooting (RB's were down slightly)...he would have put up the same points per game number if he'd shot the same FT% as his 1st year.

I expect the big "pop" to happen this year...25+pts per game with FT's being the biggest improvement.

Griffin will improve, DJ has Odom as his mentor, so I'm liking the clippers in terms of improvement!
