We look forward to Clipper Nation joining us to kick off the 2012-13 NBA Season by inviting our best fans to our Open Scrimmage on Wednesday, October 3. This event will be held at the USC Galen Center, with doors opening at 5:15 PM.

What: LA Clippers Open Scrimmage Date: Wednesday, October 3, 2012 Where: USC Galen Center, 3400 S. Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90007 Time: Doors open at 5:15 PM until 7:00 PM Enter: Either North or South Entrances off Figueroa St Parking: USC Lots = $20

During the event fans will see behind the scenes of a working NBA training camp practice. Ralph Lawler will introduce the 2012-13 LA Clippers team, and the evening will finish with an inter-squad scrimmage beginning at 6:30 PM. The event is open to the public and fans are advised to arrive early to avoid traffic delays and lines at the entrances. Last year's turnout exceeded 8,000 fans.

Dang, last year it was in December when I was home for Winter Break. I can't go this year cause it's during a school day...and to make things worse, I go to school in the eastcoast. Sad This was last years scrimmage.

EDIT: I just realized why....it was cause of the lockout. haha I forgot.

Im not a season ticket holder and i still went, i believe the lower levels are reserves for season ticket holders and the higher levels are open to the public. Additionally ralph lawler said it was open to the public so im sure you will find a seat

i usually just park on vermont and walk. or take the metro blue line. $20 is hilariously ridiculous.

Yeah, last year's scrimmage was a lot of fun, especially with all the excitement of CP3's arrival. This year should be just as exciting, if not more so, with all our new editions.

Plus you get to hear Ralph, and mostly likely CP3 and Blake say a few words to the fans. I hope I can make it again this year if I can get some free time.

We STH just get first crack at downstairs,,,,but believe me if you haven't been to Galen,,it will hold 10000 and has really good seats no matter where. Smuggle your own booze.

FIGHT ON,,,,,,,opps, wrong board

Good call on the smuggling. I might just make the cross-town trip... been too long since I've had a Clip-fix.

Naw, I'm not a STH but this is the upper level where the rest can sit and it's still pretty damn close.

I have a situation that should bring me to the LA area Wednesday afternoon, so there is a chance I might be able to actually get to this game. So how does the Metro work? I have never used it. The $20 for parking is not as big of an issue to me as the horrible traffic at that time of day. I would be starting in the Burbank/Hollywood are. Can I Metro to this game??? Anybody know???

For all of the STH's that attended last years scrimmage, is it general admission for STH's as well? I see that I have a seat # on my tickets but the section says GA. Just curious.

Basically, STH get the bottom level. But I don't think they really check.. so just go, it's FREE.. no need for buying the pass from the STH.. save your money for the beer.

All the playoff seats are attached too,,,,guess they know already we are going to the Finals. whoppee
